Couple of months ago I went out to Oregon to shoot in my first BR competition, well my wife came with me and helped setting the flags, and picking them up. While we were there she meet the Wolf Pack Team who were really nice and we had a great time hanging out with them. Tony (@Pesty3782 ) his Barb and Lauren told her she should start shooting. Well about a month ago Karen said she wanted to try it out, I set up one of Ghosts for her as she is lefthanded shooter. When I was trap shooting a lot, she got into that sport as well! Well the first time out she was hooked ! 2 weeks we were in Idaho Air Guns and she saw a Blue Red Wolf on the wall, and said that s a pretty gun, lol, so the owner took it down and showed it to Karen, so that Friday I talked her into going to the shop and shoot it in the indoor range. Needless today she is now the owner of a new (used) Daystate Red Wolf, it had a .25 caliber barrel so I ordered a .22 caliber from AOA. Tonight she shot a 220 at 50 yards with some wind happening. I think she likes the new setup! Sure is fun having Karen shooting with me.

That’s awesome news. Elaine and I had a blast at the Pyramyd Air Cup. FX talked her into shooting the KYL rack with a DRS MkII, that was the first time that she’s shot since the pumpkin carve. I told her that she is going to shoot the next event with me. It’s so much fun when your spouse it enjoys it too. A Red Wolf, nice way to start airgunning LOL. Tony and Barb are great ambassadors for the sport.

Well Bill, not sure about great ambassadors to the sport, I just want somebody else's wife to kick their A$$ so I don't feel so bad :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

LOL, but if the gun is not working well for your wife, she will want a new one :ROFLMAO:
Nothing wrong with more Airguns LOL. Elaine is hooked on these competitions now. After she shot the FX DRS MKII, I tried to leverage it. I said, I think I’ll buy one of those for the backyard. She replied: “ would you shoot that for bench rest?” . I said no. She responded with: ‘ don’t you think you should buy a bench rest backup rifle, so that you’re ready next time”. I smiled and added that I should probably buy a quality moderator too and avoid that clipping. 😏🤣😂🤣

As others have responded ... awesome to have the wife shooting with you...😄
I was fortunate to have mine with me for over 30 years of competition and general shooting. She's moved on to pickleball now but still a lot of good memories and the occasional butt kicking as was mentioned above.
The Red Wolf is for sure my favorite platform and a very nice one for her first. A chassis makes it a little better for the bench but we've always done pretty well with the factory stock.
Good luck in your future shooting endeavors with her🍀👍👊

Thanks Bob,

Yes, it is fun to have her shooting with me!! Karen was shooting my Ghost, and when she tried the Red Wolf, she said it felt more comfortable to her. So I got the Red Wolf for her, plus I get my Ghost back!!
