I think with those you have enough juice to pierce the target, and work as intended.I have shot a self healer with airguns, but I think it was only 457, maybe also 25 cal (maybe).

I ran into something similar on my FX Impact M3. I replaced the analog gauge with an Outgun digital and all it would do is leak. Tried a new x ring in it etc..just leaked. The rifle comes with the Dowty washer, but the the Huma gauges come with a thin and a thick o-ring. Huma rec that Dowty washers not be used. If the O-rings don’t work, I’ll go back to the Dowty washers.
It’s possible. I can’t find the Dowty washers anywhere except AOA. It’s bad enough that they want $12 for 4 washers, but I refuse to pay the $26.90 they are asking to ship a 1oz packet. I don’t mind when a business adds a few dollars for handling and packing materials, but that is ridiculous.I ran into something similar on my FX Impact M3. Discovered that it depends on where the air is coming into the port of the gauge cavity. Most of my FX guns and the other gauges on my Impact the air hole is in the bottom of the cavity…
Except for the 1st regualtor gauge on the Impact-the air is coming in from the side of the gauge cavity.
You have to use a dowty washer system on this one particular gauge or it wont seal…as soon as I reused the dowty system it worked just fine.
Do you think you may have something similar going on?
Thanks, I just ordered an assortment on Amazon that had 50 of the 1/8 washers for the cost of AOA shipping.
I don’t think you need to worryThanks, I just ordered an assortment on Amazon that had 50 of the 1/8 washers for the cost of AOA shipping.
The o-rings that I ordered on Amazon were supposed to be here yesterday and haven’t even shipped yet. I was trying to figure out if Dowty/ bonded washers have a pressure rating or anything else to consider.
You can also grab a pair of calipers and measure the inside and outside diamters of your originals and contact someone like Mcmaster Carr and talk to them. Thanks, I just ordered an assortment on Amazon that had 50 of the 1/8 washers for the cost of AOA shipping.

Awesome! I am a biased lover of the Pinty guns, and a huge fan of their current customer support. I would like to see them setup servicing in the USA, but I don't know that that will happen. Glad the Striker is working out well for you, too bad about the Thumper though.new here but i went out and put a new scope on my PINTY stryker in .22 just getting into pcp and really liking it
just a plinker but i have fun i quit shooting for years when ammo went sky high and i reloaded for rifle, pistol, and shotgun now that im retired i have wanted something to occupy my time my 1st pcp was a thumper and it would never hold air they told me to air it up and use soapy water to find leak -told them it wouldnt hold air long enough to test it they told me to keep gun and gave me a refund then bought avenger its just heavy i know they got ragged on about cheap stock but i think they over compensated gave pitny another another try and got a thumper it is light and easy to move with and the accuracy is getting better the more i learn about airguns just put a HAWK 4x12x50 on it and it shoots better than I do i enjoy the forum and sharing with others who enjoy
Buckchrony is combination of two great things, as long as you have a way to mount the moderator. But all of nate's Chronographs are lab tested against a certified master. I have also heard great things about the radar style like fx.Well I shot my my cheap barrel "clamp mounted" chrono testing a hammer weight change. 1st shot. It's much louder out of the whisper quiet moderator I made so I'm sure it's picked up speed. I'll have to see if the caldwell will work. Maybe I should pay for a moderator style or ...Bluetooth? Is that what the fx and other style that sit close by the barrel are? Any suggestions from the crowd?

The Nates chrony works great unless you use lube such as Lee liquid Alox to resize slugs. It will smoke when you shoot the gun and put a film on the sensor causing it not to read the shot. Easy to clean off with a Q tip but you're not going to get any reading with those resized slugs unless you clean all the lube off of them first.Buckchrony is combination of two great things, as long as you have a way to mount the moderator.
