Which is probably also a Jet lol or vica versa one thing or another, theyre all very similar, very very similar.I’m pretty sure it is a Reximex Mito
I just ordered up a Prod , can't go wrong with one in my opinion, Jim Chapman really likes his Jet II as well, I think all the sub $300 dollar carbines out there are really good for the airgun community especially to get new comers feet wet.Similar, but the Mito is regulated. I’ve watched some British videos and it’s regarded very well there
They are but I’ve had Mrods and a 1720, thought I’d like to try a KyroI just ordered up a Prod , can't go wrong with one in my opinion, Jim Chapman really likes his Jet II as well, I think all the sub $300 dollar carbines out there are really good for the airgun community especially to get new comers feet wet.

100% agree. They did a “survey” a few years ago that they included me in. They asked how likely a person would be to purchase an air rifle with particular features… bottle fed, bull pup configuration, classic rifle style, threaded barrel, etc etc. Sounds very exciting right? I know everyone else is going to vote for some cool stuff to be made just like I’m going to, and if they are going to build a rifle based off the actual customer base…. just wow!!You guys need new decision makers. Crosman seems to be getting more and more out of touch with their customers every year.
I was the one that did that survey. I will say that I had all three Akela, Cayden and Kratos in the work prior to the survey. I still refer back to that survey so nothing is lost. We have things in the works that I hope you will like but can’t give any specifics. It’s definitely been a challenging 3 years and only so many resources.100% agree. So I’m all excited expecting to be seeing a bottle fed, side lever .30 marauder coming out in the near future….. but no. The big reveal later on was the craftsman line from Turkey. And they acted like they gave everyone what they asked for because they were selling a bottle fed gun, a classic rifle, and a bull pup, all with a side lever.
I was like…. These things were ALREADY available to us in a brand from Turkey! Hahahaha it was never unobtainable, it just wasn’t being made here! They didn’t bring anything new to the market.
I bought a Kratos and a Cayden. They are very nice, and I enjoy both of them. But I don’t consider them to be real Benjamin products. They were not born into the family they were adopted.
I planned to buy the Kyro as well but I guess I can just find whatever Turkish pistol that’s copied from and buy it instead of waiting for one with a Benjamin brand on it. I thought it looked like a MUCH higher quality Hatsan Jet and it looked like a fun little pistol carbine like my Notos.
Yeah the Jet is much lower quality than what I want to buy. I was hopeful for something along the lines of the Notos but with a threaded barrel and a higher build quality. The Kyro looked like it was going to be a really compact little shooter and just what the doctor ordered. If it had shared the same barrels as the Kratos it could make for some really cool custom carbine builds.I don’t trust Hatsan based on a lot of other posts from people owning them so I had no interest in the Jet. The Kyro is a rebranded Reximex RP and I would assume better quality based on what I experienced with owning three Akela’s and a Kral NP-01. You can get the RP from 55 mm caliber Reximex RP PCP pistol Synthetic Black 12 joules Detachable stock
I’ve always like the look of the RP and have wanted to own one ever since I was it but hesitant to buy one from out of the country. I was excited when I saw the Kyro listed on the 2023 catalog and was holding out from Crosman to bring it in. If there’s anything Crosman has going for themselves it’s their customer service and product support. I own several Mrods, Prods and other Crosman/Benjamin guns and they’re for the most part decent and fun to modify and shot. I also own three Akela’s, one in each caliber, .177, .22 and .25 and have had no issues with them so I figure if I got a Kyro there was a decent chance that it would be fine just like my Akela’s but if I did have issues with it I stood a much better chance to get it resolved/replaced/fixed or returned for a refund.
Very disappointing
Unfortunately they are now saying it will not be produced at all.Oh cool...I prefer this version by benjamin (my first pcp airguns i ever shot/owned)
I hope it'll be released as a normal product soon. The Jet caught my eye but I just can't justify buying hatsan. id for sure pick one of these up if it's in a similar price range. actually a lot of sub 300 guns that look good are available now.
before i would only build custom crosman HPA conversion builds for my "low" end setups
