Thank you for your response. I will consider the information so you say 22 thanksi have both a love both.
i mostly like the .22 i wuld say if i would only hae one that would be the cal
but the .177 can be pushed a bit faster i think its a smaller pellets so?
both are great.
i even like the .20 some are danos some are marked crossman C but in that generation they are all the same.
just pick your poison. : )
Thank you for your input greatly appreciate it I tryed for the first time a crosman 1322 yesterday it felt like it was a heavy hit compared to the 1377 that I had for years .and now trying to decide on that beji s models . So two votes for 392sI’m a big fan of the 392. I bought a new one a few years back before they went to the new synthetic stock version. It’s what I always used as a kid. My best friend growing up had two that we used. Every day we raced home from school to get out in the woods to check our traps. I have shot no telling how many squirrels, raccoons, and possums with it back then. The .22 always seemed to be more effective than the .177 break barrels we also had. And the break barrels had more velocity than the 397. So my opinion is go with the .22 if it’s for hunting.
I couldn’t even begin to speculate. To this day, I can honestly say that if I could only have 1 airgun, (thank the Lord above that that’s not the case) it would be a Benjamin 392 .22. I love my PCPs, springers I could take or leave, but a 392 has enough power to ethically and consistently take small game, it’s very minimal maintenance, it carries well in the woods, it’s accurate, and short of pellets, everything you need is on board. Now that's a beautiful rifle. Why would Benjamin stop production of these great air rifles?
Best of luck my friend! I hope to see pictures of it soon! Thanks for taking the time on the subject now if I can only find one onlinethey seem to be selling fast .
Wow, that's one of the nicer looking stocks on that bad boy!
I definitely lucked up! I haven’t altered it in any way. Best part was the price. They put them on clearance at a local store since they were discontinued. $75.Wow, that's one of the nicer looking stocks on that bad boy!
Thanks 392 for small game gets another voteDefinitely the 392 for hunting.
That's cool .they seem to be sold out everywhere.I definitely lucked up! I haven’t altered it in any way. Best part was the price. They put them on clearance at a local store since they were discontinued. $75.
It sounds like production has ceased. Not enough people buying at the price necessary for these guns. That's cool .they seem to be sold out everywhere.
