Pinty Buster .177 Inbound - New Project Gun

I decided that I wasn’t going to purchase any more sub PCP $500 airguns and just concentrate on what I have. But, I was lying to myself and ordered the Pinty Buster. I ordered it with the goal of designing a carbine stock for it and maybe mid it some. My luck with new airguns has been really weird and this airgun has followed suit. I ordered it and Pinty told me it was shipped last Sunday and would be here the following Saturday Dec 20th from Ontario California (LA). FedEx tracking kept saying that they had not received it and so I sent an email asking if they had an estimate of when they would actually ship it. They told me that they had shipped it and to wait two more business days before contacting them again. Thursday it was still showing not received by FedEx and so I let Pinty know. They said it was lost and would I like a refund or replacement. I chose replacement. Sunday I got an email that one had been shipped at like 1am. Then all of a sudden an hour or two later. FedEx said they had received my package from the shipper in Pennsylvania. It just seems a little weird lol. The Pinty support is in China and so there’s a delay between communications and they seem to use a fulfillment center to ship their products. It’s supposed to be delivered tomorrow and then the fun begins. First reports from others are very promising. It’s probably not suitable for Armadillo at 15yds, but might make a fun plinker and bell target gun . I don’t shoot field target, but it might make someone a suitable FT pistol at an Economical price. They are shooting 750 plus fps.

Well, I’m burning out fast lol. Now FedEx is telling me that they are returning my package with the Pinty Buster to the sender at the senders request. They’re out of stock now and so I guess this project will probably be shelved.

The Pinty Buster is a great PCP Pistol. I absolutely love mine. That said Pinty is having growing pains and communicating with customer service located in China has its challenges. My advice is to keep emailing your customer service contact and they will strive to make things right. Pinty wants to impact the North American airgun market and will work with you. Ask for a discount code or partial refund for your inconvenience. Good luck.

Thanks, I’m guessing Fedex has damaged it. Not really sure why it would be returned to sender before it gets within 300 miles of the delivery destination

With the new stock I've seen on YouTube it's going to be a great shooter. Pinty is really knocking this one out of the park!

So my Pinty Buster was delivered yesterday nine days late - to the fulfillment center in California. Pinty told me that they didn’t ask for it to be diverted back to them. I’m becoming very jaded by the airgun industry to say the least.

They will Bill. They take their customer service very seriously. I received my new Striker .25 just about an hour ago, simply because I had messaged them about mine leading up and accuracy suffering after only 3 or 4 mags. Never had CS going above and beyond like that.

I guess crossing my fingers wasn’t enough. FedEx has had the package since Sunday and it is only just leaving the origin point (Ontario, California) now. It’s beyond ridiculous.

I did. I haven’t fired it yet. I made a 1/2-20 extender so that it can be filled without removing the moderator. I also designed and printed a 1913 stock mount and removable stock and printed a folding 1913 stock for it. Hopefully I’ll shoot it in the next day or two.

I fired it today using the fixed stock. I’ve got several issues to overcome with it, before I pass judgement. No convenient way to mount my thermal/night vision scope. It’s way too far forward and blocks the magazine. I had to use the single shot tray, which is a little cheesy lol. I started with AEA 10.3gr pellets and switched to Norma 9.1gr. . The spread was wild.
