What'cha doing air gun related today?

Put a red dot sight on my second Atomic XR and sighted it at 15 yards, confirming zero out to 40 yards. Setting it up for the a fun shoot. The kids in our Junior Sportsman’s Program, will be shattering lollipops on the target stands at 15 yards. Just put the dot on the lollipop and sugar will be splattered all over. The youngsters won’t have to deal with eye relief issues. The stock is collapsible, the low power and thousands of pellets down range have simply made the trigger very nice indeed… Of my five BRKs it is the smoothest in shooting action…

Very nice scenery to go with an awesome rifle! PJ at Karma released a video this morning about the adapter for a 4500 psi carbon fiber bottle your choice of size for your gun. It shaved a pound and a half getting rid of the steel tank and he said it's coming soon for sale. Put a 700L for lots of shots! 😎
Once again at my private range in the country getting ready for a Red Wolf meet tomorrow with a couple of friends 👍🙂🎯

Will also bring my Daystate BlackWolf TAC .177 HP along 👍🎯🐺

Since I’m gonna hot rod this thing for big power out of the 71gr hybrids I think I’m actually gonna go smaller. I put a sling on it and hiked a LOT of miles scouting new coyote ground. I have a 4.5L tank now so I’m thinking 420cc CF tank.. might only get 10-12 shots on this tune. That’s okay though especially with a tank sitting in the car.

The wife is working and I’m home with our daughters. I decided to give the .22 PP700S-A some long overdue attention. I had long ago stolen the scope that was on it for something else so I mounted this little 3-9 UTG I had sitting around and zeroed in for 20 yards. But then I noticed my neighbors, who had been gone for the weekend, had come back home and looks like they’ll be home for the rest of the day so I that’ll be it for my air gunning activities today.

So I threw in the last of the 71gr hybrids in and did a quick tune. Less than 5 min to go from the 47.2s to the 71s@880fps.

No luck shooting any dogs but we saw a few… just didn’t get them close enough.

The sling on the EQ was really nice today.
Pretty gun! Try an electronic predator call. Cheap ones work just as well as spendy ones in my experience.
Camo up in as best you can, the little dogs have sharp eyes, I’ve been busted in heavy cover at over 180 yards.

I’ve got a caller plus I use some Tony Tebbe full stands that I purchase that I’ll play on a speaker.

I use camo, I keep my hunting clothes in a duffel bag with some scent masking stuff that smells like fresh dirt and pine. I’m quiet on the walk in and make sure my car is well out of sight. I’m gonna get some. I haven’t done as much calling as I’d like but Ive got now excuses now so I’m hitting it hard. I was out again this morning before work haha.

Thanks. I do okay with it I suppose. I think it’s more difficult to shoot off hand than my Prods and Notos. Because it’s so light I find it’s easier to wonder off my poa when taking the shot. I need to put more effort in and concentrate on follow through more with this one vs other guns I own that are a little heavier.

Not the best picture but my baby finally got the plenum mod installed last night. Adds 30cc’s to a gun that only has 15cc from the factory!

Sadly the orings that seal the regulator are busted and I can’t find another one to save my life. So I can’t report on how it shoots yet.
I'm sure you'll get at it and get it going. Congrats! It looks really good.

Yeah I finally got the right ones ordered… I was praying I could find some local but it turns out slightly obscure metric o-rings don’t grow on the trees of Southern Utah 😂😂

But this is it’s important to have more than one gun. Otherwise I might have to actually socialize with people on non-airgun related business! That wouldn’t be the end of the world of course but why suffer if you don’t have to?

I got a set from Barra's webpage under 250z parts. I think the oring set was five or ten dollars each. It's the reseal kit for the whole rifle.

Looks like a real powder burner with the plenum mod installed. Just awesome! I got ahold of your supplier and he sent me his pricing. I will buy one for mine soon!

Yeah man that plenum cover may seem cosmetic but the way it secures down over the plenum makes the whole thing feel very sturdy. I wouldn’t feel weird setting the bottom of it on a stump or fence post (carefully!) to shoot from. I was pleasantly surprised.

The machining on the plenum looks good and the install process is a breeze.
