Marketplace or Craigslist just check the service date on the tank.

While it’s filling you can enjoy shooting, that’s my plan anyway.

! bought 2 out of date SCBA tanks from EBAY for about $100 shipped. They work Great I never fill them over 3600 psi, but they work great for My Use. Each have their own Fill Station and they suit My Purposes fine. They are Scott 30 Minute Bottles and I fill them to the Psi of the Rifle, and can tether them and never run out of air on a long day of shooting. Good luck with your choices!

Agreed. Having just a little more than Reg Pressure can get you shots when you need em!

I know the Feeling. I always try the Cheapest ways. My Wife said. "Get what You want"! Nope. Now I see what everyone says is true. Don't settle. I would have saved Hundreds had I listened! lol No More China stuff for Me! LOL

From an ad on another site. All seven of these HPA went bad within a short time. Multiplying the seven x $s would yield a lifetime HPA compressor. I cannot afford to replace one every few years. And refuse to have to cobble and enhance HPA compressors. So I bit the bullet on a Daystate Super Leggero …

my buddy mark is on his third 400.00 r 500.00 dollar compressor in less the two years and is now bring air tanks over here for me to fill.

My thought is the cheap compressors are ok for casual shooting but if you shoot alot or fill big bottles they just aren’t worth the aggravation.

My hill quit at 15 hrs cost $200 to rebuild (orings mostly). My omega aircharger i feel is a much better compressor being water cooled and running at lower rpm but still producing aprox the same amt of air. Don’t know the hrs on it but think its close to the hill at this point

Was it the EVO300 or newer EVO310 That died after only 15 hours of operation this is very disturbing was seriously contemplating on the Hill

I bought a little Vevor to fill my rifles when I first started. It worked great. But then I tried to fill a bottle. Although I watched the Temp and made sure that I didn't get Hot, it failed shortly there after. Bottles are altogether different I believe. I upgraded and the bigger Water-cooled Compressor works much better.

Contemplate a little higher in price, particiularly if you own more than one pricey PCP. Step up to the Daystate Super Legerro. Yes its another 1K, but you’ll have a no worries, hassle free HPAC that will probably outlast you. For me it was a big spend, but I couldn’t afford to replace a HPAC every few years. And wanted something that is simply bomber… That and the fact that the Super Legerro is priced below some of todays high tier PCPs made it a easier decision for me… Good luck!

I had the GX CS4i for about 1 year. It was fine, but a tad slow, so eventually I sold it.
Only used once or sometimes twice a week to fill my gun (Anschutz 9015...so it's a tiny cylinder, about 220cc).
Then I bought the Hill Evo-310 as I wanted 'something' maybe a bit better in quality.
The Hill is fine for my needs. It is better quality, and is faster.
Although with my use it never gets to the point of what I would call 'hot', I didn't like just the one cooling fan so I am in the middle of fitting another fan. Max temp had been 35°C (95°F) because at first use it pumped and pumped and was slowly filling my gun when I realised that 'this is too slow'. A quick check showed that there was a slightly loose pipe connection (well, the Hill had travelled 1/2 way around the world from UK to NZ). A quick tighten up and all was well. Now only goes up to 24°C.
Anyway...the new fan is a 120mm computer case fan that moves 49cuft of air per minute.
Once it's up and running I'll put up a photo or 2, and a temp reading to show if the extra fan is worthwhile. I can't see it being a useless add-on. I'm sure it will knock down some temp from the previously uncooled side of the pump.
The Hill as supplied has a max temp of 75°C before it shuts down. Then it restarts again once cooled down to 65°C.
That's just a 10°C difference, and can't be altered by the user. I think that 75°C is too hot before the shutting down, but there are a lot of Hill pumps out there and I haven't seen many folks complaining about failures.
I'm only adding the extra fan because I can!

Yes, do keep us in the loop!
If im filling both my guns after shooting i give it 10 mins to cool in-between and I leave it powered up so fan keeps spinning. I also plop it right on my floor register so the cold dry A/C is hitting it. Definitely not a speedy compressor but for straight filling guns its perfect. I hope to get a 2L bottle as well if I do get a AF condor next year.... That will be the ultimate test for my Hill.
