Others A new water separator option.

I wanted to order immediately at $110 with a $10 coupon available but did not, so you can imagine how I feel. :(
Yeah…I waited as I wanted to know if the internal cartridge was serviceable or completely proprietary as those aren’t even listed anywhere I’ve been able to find so who knows the cost. Someone over on AGN posted that it did come apart so it can be refilled 👍. I have one of the bigger filters but I think this one will be more suited to the cs2 I have.

Has anyone gotten their hands on one yet?

And what material is inside the unit itself? I must have missed it when I was reading through the website.
Yes received mine. Great little filter. The cartridge is user serviceable. It comes with two filter cartridges that have molecular sieve and charcoal in them. When I change them out I plan to refill with only sieve as charcoal serves little use to us airgunners. Has a valve that holds the air in the filter until 2000 psi before it opens and starts filling. Helps slow air down so it is dried. Nice unit.

Funny you mention that, I thought the same thing!?... my new Hill Filter set up runs a few carbon disc's inside....so...the air is odorless and fresher for my pcps I guess? Only real benefit i see is it keeps the media contained better?

How is the GX Water Seperator working for you?
I like it a lot. Doesn’t add much fill time at all. Mine opens at 1500 psi to let airflow to the output line not 2000 like I’ve read elsewhere. Unfortunately really the only way to determine if it is really truly effective would be to have the output air scientifically tested. I’ve never gotten a drop of water out of the purge at the bottom of the filter so far. However if I bleed the compressor itself first there is a small amount of moisture down there. Hopefully that means none is getting up there 🤷‍♂️
