Others Has this ever been done?

Nitrogen is the cheapest gas for air separation plants to produce partly because it is the bulk of what air is comprised of. I go thru 5ea 120 cu ft bottles a year ie 600cu ft.
Your local welding supply store is going to be the best price and place to get nitrogen in bottles ranging for 20 cu ft to 300 cu ft cylinders Cost should be around $10 to $35 depending on size .I have customer owned bottles so no rental charges. Be sure to shop around more than one supplier. I like 120 , 150 , and one 20cuft for portable feeding when using off my truck battery truck running and a GX CS2. In shop use GX CS4 and Tuxing twin

Yeah, I mess around with welding as another hobby Mig, Tig, Arc and I have an acetylene set up too. The bottles are the real cost most gases are fairly inexpensive to me.

Finding a decent size bottle for a “good price” is a tall order. Mostly you just find those little ones that the HVAC guys use for checking their lines.

I don’t know I think I’ll experiment first with the scuba tank and desiccant beads if that doesn’t pan out then maybe look into this.

I just purchased another PCP Airgun today so my poor little GX2 is going to get a serious workout.

I'm just learning about all this stuff and the valves and all..
So you have a good tank
Now I understand that the tank can hold 4500 psi
Buy when I see the Valves some say output 800psi or 1100 or 2000
Is that going to fill a PCP rifle?
Sorry for the dumb question ⁉️

Generally fixed pressure valves are for the guns. No hose or knob is the other thing.

Fill Station valves are on/off. Turn the knob and you get tank pressure. Some can be regulated at the knob and there are a couple adjustable output valves. No fixed output pressure that I have encountered.

I just get told I'm crazy.
Honestly, I mostly get told that I cause trouble and make a huge mess.

lol that reminds me of one time years ago a job site superintendent, upon seeing my approach (on foot) threw off all his PPE and started literally jumping up and down screaming profanities.

Can’t help it, I bring the chaos.

I break stuff.
I was banned from the Server room at a former employer. Admin stated every time I came in there within minutes something broke.

Former boss explaining to a customer that we could test their product
"If you absolutely need it broken today, he is your man"

In the Air Force they just called me the "Black Cloud"

That’s what I’m talking about 😉.

Now this I have heard on more than a number of occasions myself!
