It’s just a gag post. I happened to have some KO’s on hand while I tested pellets with my new carbine.

I can say that Carm 15 rd mags cycle slugs very well.

I would love to take this challenge but I’m limited to 56 yards until the end of June. We have a 5 month election gun ban which includes air rifles so I’m stuck with shooting at our backyard.

I have all the equipment needed for this kind of challenge and I’m one of those great skeptics who say BS to pictures of anything (grouping shots and scorecards) without anything to back them up. That’s why all my posts have videos that include target distance measurements from the firing line up to the target/s.

My setup:
Nikon Coolpix P1000 for zooming in/out (best used for zooming in at ladies in bikinis 1km away )
Canon EOS 77D facing me or my rifle
Insta360 X3 for 360° videos (if necessary)
Anemometers for actual wind readings (I don’t trust weather apps)
EagleVision Scope Cam
50 & 100M measuring tapes

Well i give ill never get a decent day to shoot before the 20 th. Went out today still 28* and best group of 3 1-1/4” and the wind screwing up the rest went from 6 oclock just out of 2 nd ring to 10 oclock 1” out so i give cause the next 2 weeks are supposed to be colder and windy

Another attempt. I've tried 3 brands of .22 21gr slugs, 30 gr, 27 gr, 25gr, and .177 JSB. The combination of my shooting skills, constant variable wind and equipment are providing me with a fun challenge.

@Billm My comment wasn’t directed towards you. The best group I shot the last day I shot out at 100 yards was probably 2.25”. I was working on something else and didn’t bring the target associated with this challenge or a camera.

Yes the intended goal is to show that a simple 100yd is not so easy to do. As a retailer, videographer, and airgunner now for a few too many years, I don't find a single hole group photo by a shooter demonstrative of anything other than that they know how to use their camera. Score aggregation is what separates the wheat from the chaff.

On a side subject, the World's Unlimited uses combined scores which seems to me a fair system too because it is about the shooter's aggregate scores.

I think it was a cool challenge for those that have the ability.
how are you guys even holding you phones? some special fixture? maybe someday we can upload videos to the forum in wich case would do it.

Whether it’s a photo or a continuous video, the deciding factor is a persons integrity. In my case, my integrity is more important than a 2 minutes of online fame. Cheaters are gonna cheat. My targets in the foreground are not discernible in the video. There was nothing other than personal integrity to stop me from pinning a perfect target to the backboard and shooting off target. I jumped in because I will probably never attend a formal match and thought it would be fun and it was. I liked the simplicity of the continuous video. If I do another entry, I might use a better camera and run it through one of my Blackmagic switchers so that I can add graphics without editing.

Correct you can even buy cell phone tripods at Walmart for under $20. Alternative you could plant a shovel into the ground and tape the phone to it. YouTube is a single click upload, so you can't get easier than that.

You did excellent! It's not an easy challenge and putting yourself out there like that is the first step towards real-time competing. Worst case scenario is you don't do well! But to me the person that comes and does horribly has more respect from me than the keyboard warriors that never participate.

We are just a bunch of guys (mostly) having fun, so there is no worries about a bad shot or a bad group. It's about fun and encouraging one another.

Couldn't agree more. I competed at 10 meter precision air rifle 40 years ago with a Feinwerkbau 300s and had a lot of fun. 100 yards with an airgun is definitely a challenge.
