Ghost Few new products for the brk ghost

I initially started increasing regulator outlet pressure to get more ft/s change with the Power Wheel. I was trying to see if I could shoot 177 Heavy, MRD, and Beast without having to change out the hammer spring…I even made a 3.1 mm shim for the LP HS to give it a little more…but even at 190 bar its too much of a pellet weight spread …so now I am back to 140 Reg.
When you did your tests, did you change the PW to see what the ft/s change was between PW settings at those reg pressures? I think you will find that it decreases with decreasing reg pressure.

Well and once more when i got my hp 177 i was thinking like you and tuning fx. I shot 13 gr to 810 for ft. Good sd (2-3)great groups enough shots for a match about 70. After ft season reg to 135 adjust hammer i think 6 and sd 2-4 great groups and i think a few more shots so i just don’t think you should tune like fx. I thinks the valves are quite different and i think the ghost valve likes 130-150 best. Also i weigh my pellets you should try it with a few and you’ll see the weighed group will have a lower sd. Sort to .1 gr
Even my practice pellets get washed, oiled, inspected and weighed, for comps I look for SD's of 1 or less. The gun is new and I'm still looking for the spot the gun is most accurate with stable pellet flight past 100 yards. I'm thinking the Fady spring is so heavy I will need to use the PW in the 6-8 regen once I decide what speed is the best, I can slide the pressure around to the PW in a spot it gives the best results down range.

Well there was zero wind when I decided to grab everything and shoot...I have a flag 2/3rd of the way to the 50 yard targets. Sometimes it was moving slightly and I felt nothing near me, sometimes I felt very slight wind and it wasn't moving. Shot 18 unsorted to allow reg-valve to settle in and to make adjs on scope. The JSB 10/34 are mainly sorting out into two head groups, 4.49 and 4.50 mm with the occasional 4.51 and 4.48mm. Their weights are sorting mainly into two groups; 10.26-30 gr and 10.32-36 gr (my scale moves in 0.02 gr increments). If it wasn't for the wind, I would say my barrel prefers the 4.50mm but are those 4.49 fliers wind? me? gun? pellet? or any combo of the 4...I didn't shoot as many 4.50mm because I felt like I was wasting them...and need to save them for a day when there is absolutely zero wind so that I can properly gauge what is going on.
I was surprised that the 1st three 4.49s hit the target to the right...so I fired 3, then adj regulator the next 3 that hit the target I was aiming at (1st target on left)...I did not make a scope adj when swiping to the 4.50mm. (scope is 10-24x Element Helix)
FX pocket chrono V2 shot strings txt files attached.
I need to pretend to work on the pantry remodel now if I know what's good for me........will push the pellets through the barrel test later this afternoon if I get a chance..

SD of 1...in pellet weight?
Washed as in dish soap like Dawn?
I haven't done that, I do inspect and I do have them in a tin with padded bottom that is moist with "Whistcombe Oil"
tc

Yes dawn! and a salad spinner. Spin stop spin stop and so on for a couple minutes. Of course you have to rinse in same manner. Completely dry and oil.

@GHairgunner. You stated this— terrible SD of around 7fps—- if your looking for a tighter spread than 7 fps your really probably not going to get what you want with any airgun! 7 fps is not a big spread and most probably a sd of 1

Actually😁....SD vs ES... I looked through my shot strings on my chrono and an SD of 7 isn't that great. Both my AA guns (TX and S510) will crush that. My SD is usually 2 to 4 with unsorted, non washed, straight outta the tin pellets. If he's washing and sorting I bet an SD of 1 is doable. And....for a 3k gun once broken in, almost expected? I was actually blown away that my guns could do that 😳. My $150 15 year old Slavia springer shoots about an SD of 7. Again unsorted cheap pellets.

Again we must learn to read what is printed not assume. He said sd of 7 feet per second. What actual sd do you get with a 7 fps spread?

Length of pull on the ghost has been an issue for some..... Just found these (currently out of stock) on PRS (U.K.) site. Short of making something homemade this could be nice if needed.

Sorry I had missed this. Currently I have the 25 cal Ghost shooting 929fps with SD 1.8 and a spread of 5. So yes a SD of 7 would be terrible. Especially if the fps was 7, that would hardly be coming out of the gun. Not sure that would be possible with a choked barrel. :)

Yeah it's hit or miss getting stuff from the UK to Canada?! Canadian govt is bad for sucking the fun out of fun times. I believe Bagnell and Kirkwood ship as well. I'd probably go through AGS to get it for me. Good to know it's on there radar and being addressed. I'm 6ft, average build so unsure if I would need it? Any of you guys add to you Ghost butstock length? I know Franklink made a home made hook accessory...thanks. I plan to buy a ghost in person next week myself!!

I just wanted to let any fellow Ghosters (and Delta Wolfers) know...MAPLE CUSTOM MAGS is now making mags for the Ghost!! They can be dualled up like the factory ones and will work along side the factory one as well if you need it to! I emailed them a few months ago and they said to send my mag in and they'd make em....figured I'd just wait🤣 These would look nice on the orange Ghost! They are $36 Canadian each so like $6 American lol.

You know what @Joey 69 I prefer my S510 mag over the Ghosts. The MCM ones convert the Brk style into the S510 style; O-ring holds pellets in place and only ONE hole to load/unload pellets, AND it keeps the anti dry fire feature of the Brk...win-win! I've dumped my factory mag while loading once or twice spilling pellets.
I emailed him last night and he said he can do orange or black, just specify when you order. Heck for the price grab 2!! Oh and It counts down the last 3 pellets as you shoot. Christmas came early!!! 🥳
