Ya, dst screws me in the evening and like this morning it was 38°. Too cold for this fl boy .. . Now the suns warming the air and that causes wind to pick up ... Loose , loose ,loose situation.

I was finally able to get home and unbox my new Airgun a .25 Taipan Veteran 2 tactical. I purchased it from Talon Tunes, Tony is easy to deal with he gave me a free T-shirt and got it shipped out the same day I spoke to him.

It shipped double boxed with plenty of packing material.

As well as Taipan testing it at the factory, Tony set it up for me to primarily shoot pellets for now as I plan on getting into slugs later on.

There’s a UTG scope on it now, but that’s just temporary. I plan on getting a target scope and bipod, looking hard at the Black Friday specials.

My first impressions are that it is built like a tank and it’s very quiet. I can’t wait to get some serious target shooting with it, at least at my level of it anyway .

I actually have plenty of targets posted here on the forum of all of my Airguns in the “What paper target did you shoot today” thread.

Just a hint in case you weren’t aware:

The easiest way to find them is by using the search function, type in “Taipan” then under member type “FL22” then you will see everything that I posted referencing Taipan.

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the Slash in action .
