Another gun has made it to my bucket list, the Skout EPOCH/EVO. Was reading about them last night and they intrigue me quite a bit. I don't hunt so the weight doesn't bother me. The EPOCH is actually on sale now for a pretty good price. Too many nice guns but too little money :ROFLMAO: .

I am curious on how the electronic controls compare to the Daystate Delta/Alpha wolf. Anyone has the insight?

I'm in the same boat as you on this one. Intriguing guns, Super cool American company, excellent workmanship and warranties. Heck they ship a spare parts/o-ring box with the guns! They offer them stripped down as well for less $. The Evo interests me excessively, checking most boxes.... No real 3rd party reviews/vids out that I have seen. The Epoch is simply just to fat and strange looking for me though😓 I'm still stocking up on .22 slugs and am expecting Brk to get their slug barrels out at some point in my lifetime....If not the Evo could be up. Id probably keep the Ghost for Mrds, and Evo slugs only.....I'd love zero electronics though 🤭 Watching this post👍

Per Skout, the Lothar Walther barrel is for both slug and pellet. It's one of the most accurate barrel for the EVO and is only available in .22 at the moment. It's a $200 upgrade.

Should look like this but with a shorter 25" barrel.

Welp the picture of it helped me decide....I'll stick with my Ghost 😆, TONS of slug choices in .22 and seriously good BC's, will yours be black or brown like this one?

Is the .22 the most accurate caliber for the BRK GHOST ? seems like everyone has the .22 caliber GHOST

Lol that's tough to answer😂. .22 is the best all-rounder therefore i would think it is so common. Very accurate, hard hitting, TONS of ammo choices, Kicka$$ bc numbers on the larger slugs (and the mrds are decent too). It is definitely not the most accurate, with the .22 HPs biggest problem (as shipped to you) is it makes too much power for most pellets (Read Hams review on it!) Can't switch to slugs though bc the barrel absolutely hates em. Mine is 100% stock internals, untouched reg and it ONLY like big JSB pellets above 20grain. I bought mine knowing this...That's the funny part🤣 I personally am excited to see @coolsound groups past 50 with his new Evo!

What fps is it shooting the .22 mrds out the box ?

Did you mean 990 to 998fps ?
Lol I'd be returning it if that was the case, most pellets from it will go 100FPS up, min to max from an HP .22. I believe the 18gr were 998 to juuuust under 1100FPS. Think of it as a tuner wheel to eek out a bit more (or less🤭) accuracy and power. Anything major will need a reg and or spring adjust/swap out. But let's not Jam up the Evo thread here!

Oh I see what your saying. So since there's no hammer spring I guess you don't have to find that harmony between the regulator and hammer spring adjustment? Sounds like it's much easier to tune than a non electric PCP. so to tune you just adjust one of the regulators up and down and find the speed that works best? If that's the case it is so much easier to tune than having to find that perfect regulator pressure for that certain hammer spring adjustment that will get you the velocity you want. I'm definitely interested if that's the case. Switching between a pellet tune and slug tune woukd be pretty simple and idiot proof lol 😆

? It only has one regulator (I would never buy a pcp with more than 1) and yes of course it has a hammer spring, adjusting the wheel Is tensioning the spring tighter to the hammer.... Definitely easy to tune yes.
