The trigger in my new Wolverine R, .177 cal, has way too much creep and I can't lower the pull beyond 18 oz. I'd like to get it down to 8-10 oz. Any suggestions please?

I have a Wolverine R in .177 and in .22. Like you the trigger pull was too heavy to be accurate with the .22 past 50 yds and with the .177. it was too heavy to be accurate off hand and at 3/8 inch holes in Field Target. I'm a wood worker and I keep my chisels and planes mirror sharp with Japanese waterstones. So i took the triggers apart and every surface that was in contact I polished to a mirror surface, being very careful to not change any angles. I put a tooth pick drop of white lithium on the mating surfaces and put them back together. It is pretty easy to adjust the trigger to where it will not cock or catch. From that point you just increase the trigger pull until it catches.

My .177 is right at 10 oz. and my .22 is at 13 oz. I don't need them any lighter. I took my rifles back into AOA and had Kip shoot them. He thought they were about as good as possible. There are better trigger designs aka Black Wolf. Now you know why Daystate changed. However, I like my Wolverines and I shoot FIeld Target frequently and my triggers are not an issue. I have shot some guns that the trigger is too light.
