Wolfiek PANDORA PRS – The First 500 Bar PCP Competition Rifle

Wolfiek PANDORA PRS

The Wolfiek PANDORA PRS is one of the first PCP precision air rifles to feature a maximum fill pressure of 500 Bar – that’s 7,250 PSI – thanks to the use of ultra-high-strength, thick 7576 T6 Aluminum alloy construction and new portable compressors.

Yes, 7,250 PSI in an air rifle! Let’s let that sink-in for a moment…

But don’t worry: it can also be filled to 310 Bar (4,500 PSI) if you would prefer to operate at a more conventional fill pressure.

Wolfiek PANDORA PRS

The PANDORA is one of the first platforms to offer the chance to try out 7 mm Wolfiek, an innovative caliber designed specifically for extreme long-range PCP shooting. With ammunition already in production and others currently undergoing active testing, the 7 mm ecosystem is now a reality in the world of airguns. And PANDORA is the only rifle on the market that allows you to try it out.

Want to know what this rifle is capable of? This is where it all begins…

Wolfiek PANDORA PRS – But Who Was Pandora?

Most of us have heard of Pandora. But few of us know who she was…

Somewhere around eight centuries ago, Greek mythology tells that Pandora was the first human woman created on the instructions of Zeus. Apparently each god co-operated by giving her unique gifts. That was a BIG DEAL!

So the meaning of Pandora’s name is “all-gifted” or “all-giving”. It’s a clear indication that Wolfiek Group intends this new air rifle to deliver a wide range of unique gifts to its owners, and – indeed – the airgun industry.

Wolfiek PANDORA PRS – Development

Wolfiek is very open that the PANDORA PRS air rifle was developed in collaboration with a technical and manufacturing partner. That partner is AEA Airguns.

HAM-Pandora-31.jpg

Wolfiek’s Francisco Eizayaga says: “AEA needs no introduction in the world of airguns. In just a few years, they have created one of the most versatile product ranges in the industry, reflecting a manufacturing capability that very few other companies can match.”

“PANDORA sits among the highest-tier products across the entire AEA range. It was developed to the most demanding quality and manufacturing standards they offer — the kind of attention to materials and precision that you would expect from a top-end competition rifle.” Explained Francisco.

That combination of engineering capability and production efficiency is what made the PANDORA possible, and what allowed Wolfiek to bring it to market at a price that would have been very hard to achieve any other way.”

PANDORA was shaped by extensive real-world experience of many leading PCP platforms. Plus, Wolfiek incorporated input from elite shooters across multiple disciplines into their design requirements.

It’s also a platform product, to be available in a wide range of calibers and configurations. Remember, Pandora was “all giving”!

So customers can specify their PANDORA air rifle in of no less than six different calibers. They are .177, .22, .25. 7 mm Wolfiek, .30 and .35 calibers.

That 7,000 PSI maximum fill pressure is not the only big number in the specifications. PANDORA air rifles can be configured with up to 840 cc High Pressure Air capacity.

In addition, there’s an externally adjustable regulator with a range from 100 to 310 Bar (1,450 to 4,500 PSI). The development of this regulator started with the Pandora, and it’s also now used with other AEA airguns.

Coupled to that regulator is a 210 cc capacity plenum with controlled airflow. This delivers shot-to-shot consistency, stability, and the sheer grunt required to project that pellet or slug downrange with the performance required.

HAM-Pandora-1-1.jpg

This massive power plenum isolates the air supply from the barrel, ensuring that pressure changes never affect barrel harmonics. Its front twin-tube system feeds a 360 degree transfer port for uninterrupted airflow.

Then there’s swappable valves! These enable you to quickly adapt PANDORA’s performance to match your needs, allowing you to fine-tune performance for either speed and handling or maximum precision.

In fact, there are two valves. The PRS Valve is the default on the PANDORA PRS. This features a low-resistance design for faster cocking and maximum power, allowing you to cycle the action smoothly without losing your sight picture.

HAM-Pandora-11.jpg

The Bench Valve is engineered for enhanced control and pinpoint precision on paper bullseye targets. It’s the ideal choice for shooting diabolo pellets in 100 Yard Benchrest competitions.

Oh, and you can add competition-grade barrels of different lengths to that. For what use is power and consistency without on-target accuracy?

Wolfiek Group has developed something genuinely new for the market. It’s not just a product, but a purpose-built system designed around the specific demands of ultra long-range precision shooting.

Wolfiek PANDORA PRS

Designed specifically for PRS, NRL22, Benchrest, and Ultra Long Range disciplines, Pandora is a purpose-driven rifle system for modern marksmen who want one platform that can cover multiple shooting styles without compromise.

*Note: To reach the maximum power with the Pandora, an assisted valve will need to be installed, and 300 BAR regulated pressure. So, to reach the maximum Muzzle Energy, it will be necessary to fill the gun up to 500 BAR, or to use a connected 300 BAR scuba tank.

Wolfiek PANDORA PRS – Cost And How To Buy

PANDORA’s retail price will be €1,999.00. (For US readers, that’s about $2,400.00).
It’s available directly from the Wolfiek Group website. But before you rush in and order, be sure to understand the “Kickstarter-style” pricing that Wolfiek is adopting for the first 1,000 units of production.

You see, you can still be among the first to secure the groundbreaking PANDORA PRS at exclusive founder pricing! There’s significant discounts off the standard price for early orders. The catch is that you will need to wait to receive your new air rifle.

HAM-Pandors-5-1.jpg

It works like this…

Delivery is 6 months from order confirmation and payment. Orders follow a fixed 6-month production timeline starting from the confirmation date.

The PANDORA PRS Launch Series is an early-access purchase window, similar to Kickstarter. Early backers who pre-order receive preferred pricing of €1,499.00, saving €500 off the €1,999.00 regular retail price.

In return for this reward, a commitment is made upfront, and delivery is expected in approximately 6 months during the full production cycle.

Tiers 1 and 2 are no longer available: 200 early backers have already supported this project, securing their PANDORA at a special price.

At the time of writing, the third release is still available: 100 units at €1,599.00, representing a discount of €400 on the retail price of €1,999.00. These will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and judging by the first two tiers, this one won’t last long either.

Wolfiek PANDORA PRS

Each PANDORA undergoes dedicated assembly, calibration, and quality control to ensure competition-grade consistency. The production timeline reflects this level of engineering and performance standards.

After the first 1,000 PANDORA units are sold, the product will be available for immediate delivery without the 6-month waiting period. Then the price will be the regular €1,999.00.

In summary, Wolfiek’s PANDORA Launch Series is a direct early-access, pre-order program. The product is already fully engineered, tested, and production-ready. You’re backing a finished rifle at a founder’s price. That’s better than any crowdfunding campaign, Wolfiek promises!

Wolfiek PANDORA PRS – How Do I Fill It?

Finally, Wolfiek Group has addressed this issue. You just knew they would, didn’t you?

The answer is the AEA PCP Air Compressor.

HAM-Pandora-20.jpg

Certified for use up to an impressive 480 BAR (6,962 PSI), this compressor is the best option for the PANDORA and sets a new high for air rifle HPA-filling equipment.

With such high operating pressures, the concern about safety is understandable. This is something that AEA took very seriously during development. Safety was one of the pillars during the design phase.

So this portable air compressor features an auto stop that prevents overpressure, and also is OIL FREE. This is VERY important while operating at extreme pressure levels!

In fact, this AEA compressor is CE certified at 620 Bar (9,000 PSI). But it’s software limited to “just” 480 Bar (6,962 PSI). “CE” is the European safety standards organization. They are very strict. So that’s a great endorsement for the product!

There is something else worth knowing. You don’t need to fill PANDORA to 500 Bar to get great results. A standard 300 Bar fill delivers excellent performance across most shooting applications. The 500 Bar capability is there when you want it. It’s not an absolute requirement.

One rifle. No compromises. That’s the Wolfiek PANDORA PRS.

That is all fine and good but, in this country, there will always be do gooders trying to regulate and control everything and I feel like AEA is rushing us down a path that we really don't want to take. Don't believe me, look what is happening in New York. Control freaks with small minds trying to take away your airguns. Better to fly under the radar rather than compete with firearms unless you want to be regulated to death and possibly lose the right to have them completely. Progress does not always give the results that you would like to see. There is a reason people recall THE GOOD OLD DAYS, because progress comes with a price. AEA is really pushing everything to the limit, semi auto, full auto, and this high-power stuff brings unwanted attention. Progress could reset us all back to break barrels or red riders.

Just the thoughts of an old man, not worth 2 cents.
Have to agreed, creating PCPs that mimic powder burner energy numbers seems counterintuitive to me… PCPs like the Pandora aren’t purchased by the majority of airgunners. They are for specific niche competitions and hunting and pesting for a select few… There are unfortunately those in office looking for the next “thing” to ban…🫡

My question is.....where are we getting the gear (fittings!?!?) to fill this bad boy!? I love the design, love the specs, weight, price, hate the 7k psi lol. Long term thats gonna murder some fill gear!

My prediction is simple: (here goes) People will buy it, it will be sweet, bugs will get worked out & tunes will be established.
Users will quickly realize 7k psi is niche, dangerous, excessive, difficult to find, simply not needed, and just fill it to 4500-5000psi, foregoing those max power numbers.
I recently posted pics of what my male stainless Best Fittings branded coupler looked like after 1.5 years of mild use and I 'only' fill to 3650psi, not 7000....could you imagine what that would do!? 😱
With that large a plenum, you simply dont need that kind of pressure to fling a pellet/slug, whether its .177 or .35.
Excited to see this air rifle out in the wild!

If this (super HPA) has any traction at all, it will end up making the low end much safer. So there is a possible benefit, though whether it's worth it is questionable. To me, I see this as a big advantage to big bore shooters, everybody else, not so much. I really don't like seeing air power going over 120fpe anyway, so I have no dog in this fight, but we all get pulled in anyway.

These are the kind of product innovations that are best introduced out of nowhere working perfectly. That creates buzz, asking for money and making performance/timeline promises, does not. Kickstarter/Pre-Order trust is at an all time low lately. I will be interested to see how this gun works out for an EBR, RMAC, competition. They'd better have one there, and win something, if they expect people to want to pony up and try running 7k air. It is good to try new things, but not good to be a crash-test dummy either.

I'm curious what will be used to seal it...
70 D Buna orings are only intended for up to 1000 psi differential and 90 D are 3000 psi differential but there's temperature in that rating also. Polyurethane 90 ups the pressure some but all that is with proper tolerances. Can they hold the tolerances needed?
As mentioned , filling should be interesting as well. I have stainless connectors that have little dents from the ball locks. As covered by HAM, the Foster's are already being used over their design pressure... and that's IF the tolerances are good. I know there are industrial connectors for hydraulics that are rated high enough, but all I've seen are pretty massive... not conducive for use on an airgun...

Not against development but this seems extremely dangerous to put on the market as the level of understanding needed for safety is frequently not there.

I'm also with the group that would rather our sport not be regulated by the control freeks, so pb levels of power aren't needed except as a curiosity ...
Bob

Y’all all bring up some very good very thoughtful questions and reservations.

But I’m hella dumb y’all so I want one really bad 😂😂😂… I don’t even shoot targets but I’m probably one of the few who would actually have a use for this. I’m surrounded my millions of acres of public land that’s open to shooting, hunting, camping ect… the thought of dropping a coyote at 300-400y with a big beast of an air rifle gets me out of bed in the morning.

Sadly I’m poor, so I won’t be able to be the guinea pig. But if I could I would order it now and then spend the next 6 months getting my affairs in order. You know just in case 😜.

Hopefully one of those $5 scratchers from the gas station will finally pay off. Because my OF @blue_collar_feet_pics ain’t paying off.
