What's your next air rifle purchase (2026)?

Well, I have learned no pre orders from Pinty. I like them, a lot. Is why I have 5 of them. But the pistol pre order has gone on to long. We all know about the often accused "Slow boat from China" excuse for long shipping times, but apparently they decided to route said slow boat by way of Iran. Never again will I pre order and fully pay for anything. AOA will get all my business as well if I want something not in stock.
jim sorry about your luck with preorder, I know how overwhelming and irritating it can be to deal with people that keep telling you one thing and doing something
how is your burn doing

Much better! I have not touched that demon possessed hot air gun since! Got a lovely arrow head shaped scar outta it though. Don't guess its gonna go anywhere anytime soon !
Well lesson learned on pre orders. If AOA don't offer it, I don't need it.
Any luck on your leaky one yet?

have to get my son to listen for leak my ears arent that good and the compressor makes so much noise with short fill hose-still want to fix both guns-then write story about now to get 2 vevor compressors and 3 pinty ariguns for$245 tax and shipping included hahaha hope you feel better oh yea i got a 3x9 scope too

Oh lord. Hearing anything over that compressor noise even with a 36 inch hose will take a miracle. Speaking of, glad I bought the 23.00 Wal-Mart 3 year warranty on mine a year and 5 months ago! Mine died 2 weeks ago! It was way noisy from the start, and ran around 35-36 C just filling 3500psi Pintys. They sent ship.label, and 3 days later, full refund! Got same one again, it is way quieter, another 3 year ext.warranty, and had 5.00 left and put it toward the big Vevor air dryer with big cartridge insert! And it runs 27c filling 3500 psi gun, ran 28c filling my 4300psi Avenger.

i dont think i can think about a new gun, im still trying to get the stuff I need to shoot my striker
you know the rabbit hole stuff-bi pod-chrono-scope-waiting for the cheap compressor to go out and then not shooting till i could get a better cheap one??im having too much fun shooting what i have and i can not shoot but 1 at a time, i think when i get 1 hole groups at 100y out of the striker(haha) i might be temped to look at the new Falcon--- oh heck the hole just got bigger - it said If you cant be with the one you Love-Love the one youre with

I think I might get a Umarex Zelos. It checks all of my boxes but one. It is a 6-pound carry gun before a scope, budget friendly, very accurate with pellets and slugs, no more than 3,600psi fill, and isn't crazy long. It is a little light on power; I would prefer 50+fpe but it will be okey for what I want. I have been watching a lot of videos on them and both the .22 and the .25 seem to do well with pellets and slugs but the .25 is what I am looking at first and if I really like it, I might want a .22 later. I was hoping some of the new guns would be 6 pounds, but they are all coming in at about 7.5+. Besides, it follows the theme of my guns, UGLY BLASTER. :ninja:

The Air Venturi Avenge-X Tactical Carbine would have been perfect for me, and I almost pulled the trigger on one, but I seriously don't want another airgun over 3600psi, and it takes 4300. Yes, I didn't have to fill it all the way but then the shot count would have been cut in half. That might have been fine for the .177 barrel, but I am most interested in a .25 right now. But it does fill the ugly as hell category perfectly.

When I started this thread I wrote that my next air rifle was going to be an 'Epic Vision'. I gotta admit..., I've changed my mind.

I'm really craving an FX DRS MK2 Classic Walnut with a 600mm barrel in .22 caliber. Just my style (old school) of rifle and the changes that FX made to the MK2 have me wanting to buy my first FX rifle.

If there are some in-stock at the dealers when I am ready to buy this late Fall, I think the DRS Mk2 will be my 2026 new air rifle. :)

They just feel right when shooting compared to bottle guns. If you order from utah you can ask them to set it up for the ammo you want

I will buy whatever is in stock, due to no one ever has hardly any inventory anymore,
so your phurchase almost always ends up being a compromise of what you really wanted.
I have noticed this as well for a couple of months now. I have wondered if it has anything to do with the tariffs. Some of the things I have been looking at are overdue now.

I spoke to Darren at AOA a few weeks ago and he told me that AOA has received a quantity of the New Weihrauch HW100X! They (AOA) will be testing them to get an assessment of Manufacturer's Velocity,Shot Count, and Energy Claims before posting their availability on the AOA Website. Darren also told me that the price Increase Is due to the Import Tariffs being Implemented!

All of the new guns are interesting and exciting to me, but I hate that they have so many Orings and things that can fail on them. Yes, the auto safety is a pain in the butt on my Airforce guns, and they are not as accurate and don't get as many shots as the high-end guns, but I never worry about them breaking. That means a lot to me. I guess I feel like if you spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on something you should be able to expect it to last for a reasonable amount of time. Not be broken when you get it or within a year.

@Chief55, disabling your auto saftey is really way easier than putting up with it forever. AirForce airguns are very different, but they are tough, especially compared against 99% of the other airguns out there.

Yeah that or grab a new AF model, I see the auto safety is going away FINALLY on the new AF guns. They also just released (or im just a little slow😂) a .308 version of the T-Rex Texan. I wouldn’t say no one in .357!
Pic rails, manual safety, airforce is listening!

I just happened to pick up a Northtac Qilin .30 cal-24 inch barrel from BlugrassBigBore.com
Got some slugs and pellets coming in tomorrow, i cant wait til i can shoot something out of it besides the cleaning patches that i had gotten stuck while trying to clean the barrel. As far as looks go, shes a looker! I think so, at least.
