Plinked with my Ghost Carbine at 60, 70, 75 and 110 yards. The conditions were just right and it seem like I could not miss. Sending JSB Exact Jumbo 18s. Multiple, consecutive hits, using 18 MOA of holdover at 110 yards was simply sweet…

It’s the Benchmade Saddle Mountain Skinner. Full disclosure, the gentleman stated he procures and sells factory seconds and discontinued knives. This being a discontinued model of the line. Always was $250+ when I would check on them online and in stores. I was included in the conversation already in progress between this guy (who was waiting on his new blaze orange Ghost .30 Nice!) another customer and the staff. He said he sold knives, pulled out a few he had with him, and offered it to me when I said how much I liked it. For $100! Uhm, yeah!

That statement would have made me back up. High end knife manufacturers like Spyderco and Benchmade destroy all their substandard pieces to my knowledge. The knife industry is plagued by clones.
Yeah, most likely a case of too good to be true. My luck.

Shot the sk-19 real quick before the sun went down yesterday. Didn't have time to sight it in, that will be today. Old man's property is 5 acres w a 30x40 metal building and no fence on the property. After my 1st shot I adjusted a few things and as I sat down to sight and shoot the neighbor walked in front of the gun Unannounced!!!!! She walked over because she heard a gun shot. 10 seconds later and it could have ended very badly. I was at a loss for words. The only reason she came over is she's nosy and wants to buy the land. I told her to drive over next time and honk since she has no common sense. Well that was the end of the conversation. Unbelievable. Hope she listens, if it happens today my attitude will be different and I'll go have a conversation with her husband. UNREAL.

Take pictures of it and send them to Benchmade or take it to a reputable dealer. The major problem with having a clone is that it may fail and injure you.
Sounds like she is in need of Trespass Warning explained for her own safety.
Glad that nothing catastrophic happened though.
Its amazing to me that common sense doesn't play into most people's decisions. Honestly dont think that a sign would stop her. Hopefully it won't happen again
So far today I've been writing replies bad-mouthing the new Gen3 Marauder. 
In about an hour I am going to shoot my re-vamped Daystar some more. The Daystar now has a biathlon style cocking lever instead of the 'butter knife' style lever. Also has a new barrel that I am running free-floated with no barrel band. Has a new trigger piece that I modified so the crossbolt safety works with a single-stage trigger at 8ozs.
I fired it yesterday in light, switching wind and it still 'stacked' better than average for the conditions.
The ground squirrels are not going to like this rifle come Summer!

Shot out 52 yards with the max 1, sk-19 and Nova liberty .22. The sk-19 "tuning knob" was inconsistent and doesn't seem to work correctly. When I was able to get it to shoot jts 45.06gr and 49.5 gr nsa slugs around 950-930 accuracy increased. It's a fun rifle, needs maintenance it appears. The max 1 shoots 30.86gr barracuda great again, fliers with slugs, fliers with jts 29.63gr. it's time to clean barrels. My Nova liberty started shooting fliers at the end as well with Norma heavy. Looks like I have some barrel cleaning to do. Shot 300 plus rounds from them all. Fun and Safe day. The full auto video wouldn't load.

Wood stock. Shooting Norma 17.6 around 850. I hadn't checked the regulator setting yet. Not enough time today.
