What'cha doing air gun related today?

My tuxing compressor showed up, I ordered royal purple compressor oil and I need to get an "at least 20 L" water tank for the submersible pump. I'll do a break down of it when I have all the parts with some pictures....edit, I was able to purchase a barrel from umarex for my notos from the spare parts gun for 35$ shipping included. So if I don't like the 600 mm barrel I can swap back and my cheap behind saved money on the trade.

I took apart the M357 Bulldog to remove the Hill depinger that was creating a small plenum. I had to hold a nail with a pair of needle nose vice grips to go through the depinger hole and pull it out of the tank. I installed the big Airguns Revisions pinger and reassembled the gun. Removed the unneeded Pitbull barrel supports. Cocks, dry fired with no pressure and safety works, decocks all good. Filled with air to 2500 PSI so far so good. Waiting and leak checking until the Emperor gets here.

Okay, so I have a backlog, and none of it was today. Oops!

Monday, had range session with my brother and my oldest son. My brother now has his airguns back that I've had since December, and he's finally gotten to shoot and enjoy his P-Pup (Pinty Thumper). Tested out my resettable targets from ATFLBox, the plate was falling because I smacked the silhouettes so hard... but I also managed resets. Was a fun "Pinty Party".20260309_101823.webp20260309_105019.webp

Tuesday I took advantage of the beautiful and hot weather to zero scope from my OmniStorm on my Vapor Max and commence pellet testing. Approximately 140 pellets fired, 6 pumps per shot, for 840 total pumps in under 2 hours. Tested 12 pellets at 25 yards, and think I found a clear winner...20260310_164736.webp

Wednesday, I went out for a "quick lead slynging" where I discovered I did not have the scope fully tightened onto the plastic dovetail rail and it had moved. I still attempted my 25 target challenge, but after 40 shots still had about 10 targets standing. 😔 But was a nice quick fix behind the trigger.20260311_160025.webp

Today was preps for weekend airgun shooting and camping trip. Be my first meet-up with non-family airgun shooters! 2 of the kids coming with me.

Whew, there is my week in review! Happy and safe Airgunning y'all.

Leak checking the M357, it's still holding air and trying to decide what to do about scopes. I have to many guns and not enough scopes. Think I might move the Zulus to the Bulldog for a little while just to be able to shoot it because it is programable for different guns so I can always move it back without starting over. They would all have a Zulus if I could win the lotto. Wait, maybe I could have another Birthday this year, no, maybe not, getting too old to fast as it is, no need to rush things. :ROFLMAO:
