What'cha doing air gun related today?

Not a resizing tool, I meant a pellet sorter.
I don’t know about that zan pellet sizer but you can buy a pellet head size checker which can be very beneficial especially for jsb 10.3. 13.4’s are usually slightly oversized in head diameter and dont really need it 10.3 can sometimes be too small. I had 3 tins that were too small for the head sizing gauge and shot terribly. Shooting field target i just weigh the 13’s and shoot the oddballs for practice

I really enjoyed shooting my Pinty Buster. Regardless of the budget PCP Pistol category it punches way above its weight. It's been sold out since Christmas for many good reasons.

All I do now is tumble in a rag at most just to get all the flakes off of it’s a dirty tin.
I’m glad that some of the pellet manufacturers have decided to put the foam inserts in the tin seems to help collect some of debris, not sure if it helps with preventing any damage though.

Makes me wonder what HM might say. He would probably think that they are just cheating everyone out of some pellets lol.

I was disappointed in a tin of Benjamin single die I have. Has the foam, a harder compound, and still bent skirts.

I’ve been working since yesterday on getting the inletting 3d modeling for my new Sonoran stock in Fusion 360. I’m trying to decide on a Free Recoil benchrest style (similar to Thomas) or a chassis style stock with a skeleton butt stock. I’m thinking of selling my CNC equipment, so I might have to mill a laminate stock for it, either way it’s easier to get the fit right with some 3d prints. IMG_3028.webp

Took first shots with my Crosman Vapor Max. Put about 61-81 rounds through it today, including some "speed shooting". The magazine is decent enough (I think it is the same as the Gamo Swarm mags), can only engage the safety or pump air after opening the bolt, pump handle needs cleaned of excess lube and feels gritty, the foam pump "cup" felt dry and questionable, and I could feel the stock flex during pumping where my original was broken at upon delivery. But it was accurate from 10m to 31 yards, straight out of the box with usa CPHP pellets.20260304_150847.webp20260304_215442.webp20260304_143846.webp20260304_143814.webp

It looks like I have slain the air leak beast!!🥳🎉🥳🎉 My impact hasn't lost 1 PSI in 24 hours. I used a slightly larger Oring (about .004 larger) and instead of a 90 duro I went with a 70 duro. I'm guessing the slightly larger Oring and the softer rubber allowed it to flow into the tiny scratch and seal it.
