What'cha doing air gun related today?

I used a brass and plastic pick at first but couldn't get the rock hard Oring out. I finally tried a hooked dental pick and it came right out. I've checked in the reg bore with a bore scope and didn't see any scratches in the Oring groove but that doesn't mean there isn't any. I'm leaning towards there being a stubborn hair in there. I have 7 dogs so there's no lack of hair.
I had an oring get so hard once that I thought it was actually a plastic part. That one took some effort, but I thought to myself afterwards that if I ever had an oring like that again, I was going to get a teapot steaming and use steam to soften the damn thing up. I haven't had to try it yet, but I'm sure that I will some day.

I have hardly done anything for a few weeks. Went in for a procedure and came out with a Catheter.
Other than surfing, YouTube (for Airgun information of course) that's been about it.
Maybe in a week or 2 I'll get back to the range.
I can't tell you how much I miss the commodery with the guys. Talking smack, the best of times 😊

I have a bunch of new airguns that want some shooting love, but instead I spent the night ill. 😢

Hope you are able to get back soon.

Hopefully it won’t be long for you. Seven months ago I was told that I would have a catheter for 9 days or so. I ended up with it for weeks because I couldn’t get the follow up appointment. At first I refused to leave the house with the bag. Then, I said to heck with it, I attached the bag to a small tripod/monopod so that I could shoot and started carrying it back and forth to the target stand. I’m sure my neighbors thought I was whacked, but it kept me sane lol.

Pushed the fill probe in too far on my Bullshark and blew the burst disc on my compressor. I've never done that before and I can tell you it happened faster than my brain could register what was going on. New ones won't be here until Thursday. Time to drag out my Daisy 35s and sling some BBs for a few days.

Love these. I still remember very vividly,,me at 5 years old, being taught by my favorite uncle, and much older cousin, how to fire one of these, then the PB one.
I was already the terror of every can, Starling and snake around our big pond with my Daisy rifle, but had never even touched a pistol. Apparently my uncle told my dad how much I loved them both, and that summer for my b-day, this was what I got.Man I loved that thing!
