Bill you should hang some surveyors tape on that post by the tree and make a little stand to hang some on and put by your grill that will give you some indication what the wind is doingWell, I was looking out at my target stand, thinking : I wish I could go out and shoot, it really looks nice and sunny. Then I looked over at the wind vane with disappointment. Good thing I did, 75yds down left side of the yard I saw water gushing out of the temporary (12+ months temp.) water connection. Luckily I did add an emergency shutoff. Procrastination bit me again. But, it did motivate me to go out and shoot a few shots lol.View attachment 19133
I’ll do that. My thought process: hang some tape or flags along the shooting lane. Try and video the shot picture and the flags. I just went out and shot the 5x5. Besides my hands being so cold they locked up lol, the wind was compel different at each end of the yard.Bill you should hang some surveyors tape on that post by the tree and make a little stand to hang some on and put by your grill that will give you some indication what the wind is doing

Geeze, I'd probably go prone up against that fence line to shoot, and I hate going prone! lolWell, I was looking out at my target stand, thinking : I wish I could go out and shoot, it really looks nice and sunny. USA! USA! USA!Jan 30th I was on eBay looking for a possible replacement for my shot‑up Pro Chrono. It still works, but I was trying to get a BC on a slug and had zero luck finding anything in my price range that didn’t require putting a chronograph downrange. I’ve been hunting for something better for a long time.
That changed on the 30th.
I found one on eBay, took a chance, and it showed up today. It came in the original box with all the paperwork. I went through everything and it’s working exactly like it should. And the best part — I got it cheap.
I just bought one on optics planet new for $284. Goes with my Pard DS35-LRF I got on Ebay for $399.Jan 30th I was on eBay looking for a possible replacement for my shot‑up Pro Chrono.
