I was gonna ask what is the metal thickness u used? I know my S510 30/32fpe was murdering my dad's cheap steel saw horses. I had plywood on it as my target...being an AAJust in case anyone’s getting any ideas, I’m testing the backstop. I know if I hit the target It won’t blow through it.![]()
It was just some galvanized roofing material that I had laying around. By the way, as the father of a once destructive offspring, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your statement. But what can you do, sometimes life comes full circle lol when I was little my grandfather told me “Son you could tear up an anvil”.I was gonna ask what is the metal thickness u used? I know my S510 30/32fpe was murdering my dad's cheap steel saw horses. I had plywood on it as my target...being an AAit just kept smashing one big hole in the wood and then the sawhorse behind it, decided then and there to make my pellet trap (1/8th steel). Nothing got through but I made some serious dents in saw horse....oops.
Could you talk about that bullshark some? I tried looking through your posts, but all I found was you talking about wanting one. I’m sure I could search it, but maybe you could tell me about it.I put the Pard DS35 on my Concept Lite and sighted it in. Worked on my project Bullshark, seems like I blew the exhaust valve.
I got it on AGN as a project rifle. The guy I bought it from bought it from a person that tried customizing it, but that guy wasn't very good at gunsmithing. All he told me when I bought it was the original owner tried installing a huma reg and plenum, but it leaked. The original owner also said it shot knock out slugs well. I believe the original owner went power crazy with it and failed. I just want a pellet shooter. The huma plenum and reg are the same in the notos/pp750. The o-ring size provided by huma don't seem to be right. I removed the huma stuff and reinstalled the factory reg and it held air. I test fired it today and it was shooting 260 fps, I adjusted the hammer spring up and got to 360. Degassed and adjusted the factory reg a bit. Then it was shooting 450ish fps with the hammer spring screw flush at the rear. I did two turns to increase hammer spring. The next shot I had air leaking out the barrel. So it will be fully torn down next week. I hope it is just an exhaust valve. I have a PEEK valve I bought for my P35 25 cal. I will probably swap them all around if that seems to be the issue.Could you talk about that bullshark some? I tried looking through your posts, but all I found was you talking about wanting one. When you break it down if you could post some photos of it that would be great.I got it on AGN as a project rifle. The rifle was missing 4 M5 screws when it arrived also, but that was easy.
Sounds like the S200 deserves its own Hunting thread. I think it would be great… what’s the worst thing that could happen?S200 got its first squirrel. It moved as I shot and I caught the shoulder. It couldn’t escape my JRT. I called her off and put the next one through its head. It was a very cautious and twitchy one.
I’m planning a 10x scope and a scope cam. I’m trying to decide if I want to change the lens out in a GoPro I have to use a 75/25 Eaglevision. I don’t use the GoPro much. I really wish the DS35 would record 120 fps.Sounds like the S200 deserves its own Hunting thread. I think it would be great… what’s the worst thing that could happen?![]()
I look forward to seeing whatever you decide to go with. With what I have right at the moment, any of those things would be a waste of money but with that S510, perhaps that will change. It's great to do that. Same wind here, so fire away.I’ve been plinking, plinking and more plinking gone through a 500 count tin it’s been too windy here to get serious about any target shooting.
They put the valve spring in backwards, I hope that is the only thing. When you break it down if you could post some photos of it that would be great.
