What'cha doing air gun related today?

That Hornet is BRUTAL! Now I want to order some and test them.
They are expensive but in the pointed pellet world one of the most accurate...for me anyways!! I think because the tip is perfectly conical perhaps, and not pressed out of lead. They came with a multi pack of H&Ns. Still need to sit down with the S510 and group em all @ 40/50 yards and compare them. I totally forgot to try the crow magnums though😔....they woulda probably won for expansion with there super wide hollow point.

Nothing pointed has ever worked for my Airguns.

I remember using them as a kid to shoot squirrels that would tear up our bird feeders with an old Crosman 760. I used Benjamin Discover HPs in the Benji 392. Unless I had something else. lol. You’re rarely picky as a kid growing up poor in the country.

I took my recently acquired airguns to the range today. Both the Beeman QBII Chief and the Seneca DragonFly II seem to both prefer the 16 grain Air Arms Diabolo Field. The 18 grain JTS Wadcutters... well today wasn't theirs.
Great pellets. My PP700SA and Notos love them. The PP700 won’t shoot the JSB or FX close to what it does with the AA brand.

Chronoed the TX finally in hot weather! She's shooting back to "as new" speeds🤭pheewww. I'd also say it's officially broken in, got at least 500/600 pellets and 1 good cleaning through it. It dumped about 40/50 FPS over winter, got alittle concerned.....is that to be expected on a springer? Definitely never lost her accuracy though, I never had (or cared) a chrony for my old Slavia over the years so I never really noticed? After that murdered some cans with it @ 30 and 40 Yards.

Did a power test with the TX to about the edge of my property (92ish yards) to see viable accuracy and power...just in case😒 and Wow, Zero wind right now but check that height!!🤯😍...I'm selling all my Pcps 🤣. Cleanly penetrated the 1/4inch ply. Guessed on the hold and first was low left. Held higher and ripped off 3 more. Could not see what was going on with my 12X scope till I got up to it....850fps at the muzzle so 13.5 FPE or so. I'm literally shooting this more than my Ghost.

I mounted my pard back on my p35. Tried installing the SA plenum, but I need o rings that fit properly.
I also finished a portable shooting bench.
That is my next shooting project!! Small light but sturdy shooting table. Lol...wood, plastic, steel, and trex decking leftovers? Very nice sir! It's made out of a bit of everything😅

Very nice shooting man. Quick questions, how many shots are in this group and what size of a group is this? Definitely very accurate brother!
Thanks. 5 shots group. The red circle is 1" diameter so the group is about 1/2". JSB 18.13 gr pellets at low power setting on the Red Wolf. Definitely an accurate gun. I need to put a better scope on it :-). It has a Vortex PST 4-16 on it at the moment.

...well, today I got the GK1 perfectly zeroed and promptly broke it...

...I only had four shots fired on the latest adjustment but ran out of pellets and thought I should shoot a few more to get a good Idea of where it was shooting...

...so I reloaded the cylinder and fired w/o latching the cylinder...

...there was a loud pop, no pellet fired, and now the cylinder is locked...

...jamming the carbon fiber rod down the bore didn't seem to free it up but it was making me nervous so I sent it back to KRAZ COOL for repairs...

...when I checked the target the 4 shots were tightly clustered dead on point of aim...so I could have just stopped...
