Well first of all, they raised their shipping to $12. I was surprised but under stood , with every thing that's going on. Now the second thing bothered me. I won't go into detail but wanted to order Barra .177 point, .177 Barra hollow point and .22 pointed pellets. I've bought many pellets from them because of their buy 4 get one free offer. Well there is a catch that they don't tell you about. You find out at check out. that buy 4 get one free does not apply to Barra pellets because the pellets are sold and shipped by Barra. To me That's BS. They either need to put a disclaimer in their 4 for 3 offer or not list Barra pellets. I cancelled that order and went to the Barra site. I ordered and paid for 4 tins but paid $4.95 for shipping. Yes it does take longer to ship from Barra so I guess the extra $7 you pay with PA get's you faster shipping. In the last 4 years, I've only purchased my air rifles (7) from them. I was happy with them until now. Sorry for the long rant. I just wanted people to know.

P.S. Some of you may think I'm a grouchy, complaining old man, I'm really not. If I'm treated fair an am given good service, I'm an old happy camper. It just seems like the last month or so I have been receiving the wrong end of the stick.

I get the complaint, but the opinion seems a bit strong. I had never noticed it before but the banner does say 4 for 3 for pellets sold and shipped by PA. When you go to the Barra pellets pages there is 4 for 3 banner. A little cryptic, but not the end of the world.

Agree with both. Not the end of the world, but could be clearer to avoid the bait and switch feeling.

For me, I find it a bit annoying when I'm building up an order the qualifies for free shipping, and then when I apply some discount code and my total goes just below the free shipping threshold. Then I have to go back and buy some additional item to get the free shipping again. Not the end of the world, but annoying, because it makes the whole process take longer.

I stand corrected, I screwed myself for not reading the fine print.

PA must be getting some thing out of advertising pellets sold and shipped by another company.

There is more and more "sold and shipped by" on their website these days. That has become the thing I found I have to watch for, they have swapped to "outdoor sports amazon" style. Each vendor has their own shipping limits that don't apply toward anything else in your cart.

There is no 4 for 3 on the Barra web site, if there was I would have paid for 3 and got four. I paid for 4 tins. I don't mind paying for each tin I purchase but don't make me read fine print that excludes some brands that they advertise from the offer they give.

Agreed. Times are changing and not for the better.

I think he was saying on PA website, when on the page for the pellets, it shows the 3 for 4 at header which is deceptive.

I found that out last year when I ordered some NSA slugs with my pellet order, definitely not just barra stuff sold by PA. Before u click add to cart look to see where/who it is sold and shipped by.... wierd I admit. I would have paid shipping from both places and not saved anything (esp shipping to Canada!) I just took them out of my cart along with a JSB predator pellet T-shirt that I thought would be cool...till I saw the extra shipping price tacked on 😒🥺😡. Why it's on PA website is beyond me...

NSA slugs almost got me last year. I just increased the number until shipping went free. My Texan isn't complaining about the extra food.

Ok, I misunderstood.
Shipping costs fluctuate with weight and destination according to PA’s FAQ.

I just checked and 4 tins of JSB 18.13 are $9.99 shipping cost to my house, same as in the past.
Well that may well be true. All I know is that any pellet order I had withe PA, nomatter it it was all .22 or .177 and as many as 8 tins in one order, the shipping has been $9.99. All deliveries to the same address. To end this thread, I'll say it is what it is and I can't change it.

And to put your rant into perspective😬: I have 8 tins of beautiful shiny pellet nuggets en route from PA. Shipping & border fees to my door? $50 all in...I (sadly) kid you not. If it wasnt for the 4 for 3 deal i wouldn't bother. PA has some stuff that no one up here has so maybe 1 or 2 times a yr I will get a order in and try to make it worth it. Gotta pay to play, and man I love to play🥳

JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.13 Grains, Domed, 500ct
$22.99 Pyramyd Air.
Math is not my strong point, but i haven't bought from Pyramyd in a while,
I just went to the Trenier website and they have a good selection of pellets. Where are they located and what do they charge for shipping?
