What did you buy/receive today?

My .20 pellets and slugs arrived today. Wow they are so small if I didn't know better, I would think they were .177. After shooting the .35 125gr slugs these are incredibly tiny. Guess I will need a magnifying glass, so I don't load them in backwards.

Speaking of big & small pellets, I broke down and got my first tin of wadcutters to try out with my 2 springers for closer range, have only ever shot domes and polymags out of them.
Some one on Ham said they buy ammo for the gun they want but dont have yet to "cement" the future purchase.....well Im trying that, bought some .30 cal Hades & they are chunky!!
I don't know which .30 cal rifle I will get but I'm waiting till next year anyways. Once my Ghost is set up with slugs it should be around 55-65fpe and kinda nullifies going with a .25 methinks.

Did they say where it was leaking from?

Yes, it was leaking at the fill port, they pulled that out and replaced the O-rings and it held air after that.
I could not find where it was leaking, I think they replace the fill port too

Makes me wonder how common that is. Mine leaked from day one. They didn't seem surprised when I called ( even though they test before shipping). Advised me to wait to see what else could go wrong before sending it back. I ended up just living with it since it was a slow leak.

Mine was not that slow and would lose over 75 bars overnight. It just started doing it one day. I did the soapy water mixture to look for the leak, but could not find it. That's why I sent it back; otherwise, the gun works perfectly! I have 2 Ghosts, and I really like them both.

I’m a proud FX owner: it might only be a Bag Rider but what the heck. I’m not sure this purchase could get any worse. First I’m told by UPS that they believe the FX Panthera MKII that I ordered is either lost or stolen - it hasn’t been seen since Tuesday. Then thirty minutes ago I received the package from the other dealer that I ordered the FX pellet liner, FX carbon fiber tube, FX bag rider and some pellets and slugs from. I knew as soon as I saw the 15” box that either something was wrong or it was a telescopic barrel. Obviously it was the former. So, now I’m the proud owner of an FX Bag Rider and nothing that it fits lol. I’m not going to trash the small businesses. I just want to know what I did lol.

This gets funnier by the minute. Apparently the rifle has shown up in Jacksonville FL. and they’re going to deliver it a little late. I sure hope it shoots good with the stock liner lol.

Well on a brighter note. My Airforce 12-inch .20 barrel just came for the EscapeSS that I was not expecting until the middle of next month, so that was a nice surprise. I have some mixed feelings on this one. The ammo is cheap compared to what I normally shoot. The groove and twist rate are pretty good for the ammo selections that are available, but the choke could mess that up some and I am a bit concerned about how much wind has been blowing here for the last several months, but I am hoping if the slugs shoot well, they will make a difference. I am also a bit concerned about trying to load the tiny projectiles, well I guess I am not too far from finding out now. I might need to make and install a catch tray. Load one, drop two, load one, drop two, wait no, that sounds too much like knitting and way more expensive. Yucca foo.

You're going to like the .30 Hades in whatever you get. They always shoot extremely accurate for me like they were match pellets and not hunting ones. If the RMR slugs didn't edge them out slightly, I would use the Hades all the time. Eventually I might just go with the Hades (when my RMR supply runs out) because they don't foul my bore like the FX/RMR slugs do.

Yeah, it’s been fun lol. I guess I’ll have to reorder the pellet liner. I’ll try the stock liner first.

Adventures in shipping. It blows my mind with all the tech we now have they're less reliable than when people just did their job. I actually believe that the tech makes them careless.
