I'm not saying it's not a 1973. I'm just saying that the bolt handle doesn't look right.
Ordered up a digital pressure gage for my liberty from airgunarchery fun in Canada. I couldn't find a 8mm thread gage that goes to 30mpa or 4500 psi that wasn't from China. I realize that Wes is getting them from China but I won't have to wait for the slow boat from China to make it here.
FYI, HPP has some of the new FX D1 chronographs for sale. I was watching his weeekly update and I always read the comments, and this time it paid off. Someone asked him when they were getting them and he responded with 'already on the website.' I have been looking for these since they have been announced and he is the first person to actually have them. Well, now he has one less! There were four left when I started typing this, good luck!
Last of my ATFLBox "FT" targets showed up, along with my new to me Seneca Dragonfly Mk2 in wood furniture and a surprise package with bb gun speed loader, cowboy and Indians figures for shooting at, and various targets. The Seneca is even prettier in person than I expected. 
Also, AoA packing is top notch. Double boxed with bubble packing between boxes and gun was in cutout egg crate foam.

Had to order up some 3x22mm screws. The one that was holding the handle on my cocking lever fell out and I can't find it. Took me way to long to figure out how the handle attached to the lever. DUH! It's one of those short throw levers that Ernie Rowe sells or sold .

I received my Benjamin 397 .177 yesterday afternoon, I won It on Ebay & paid just under $300 w/shipping and tax!
I'm thinking Its a mid 90s production model NIB Made In USA at the Crosman Factory In NY (Even Has The Hang Tag On The Trigger) 8 pumps with a 7 grain RWS Pellet Is giving me 835 FPS!

Guys I wanted to get an opinion on something that Is a little confusing
I have a bone stock Crosman ( Brand New) 362 and shooting Crosman Premiere 14.3 GR HP's I can't get close to 600FPS!
My Chronograph is working properly and I saw a few vids on Youtube wear OTS Airguns and Airguns Of Alaska are getting well over 600 FPS with their (Plastic Breech) 362's using the same pellet? My Crosman 100 year anniversary model Is getting mid to high 600 FPS. I did put a Steel breech on my 362 after I tested It and there Is no Improvement In velocity....Any Thoughts?
