PCP What air gun do you Most Regret buying?

We all have had at least one. We'll, most all of us anyway. Didn't have to be a "Bad" one, just not what you thought, or no better than you thought the step up should have been. I will fess up, mine is my .25 Raider. Holds air, shoots hard and straight when zero scope. But. Even putting it in the rack, and taking it out the next day, chances are great you gonna have to re zero the scope. Seems to be a major issue with the plastic breach.
I wanted to add somethings about my ,"Bad" Raider .25. It only has the issue when scoped. Using the great set of factory sites, it will split hairs. If your eyes are good anyway. My
eyes ain't good! I'm not blind as a bat, but I sure need a scope past 15 or so yards. Just wanted yall to know, the Raider is not a Bad rifle. Especially for the price. If it had a Barra reciever, it would be a real beast .

I have had 3 I regret. All cheap & all Crosman. 1st is the Crosman 1008 repeat air C02 pistol. Rear sight drifts on its on. Seems underpowered too for the claimed fps. The other two were both Crosman 357 (now called Vigilante) C02 revolver. The barrel latch in both didn’t last long. Maybe the new ones are better. Other than those I haven’t regretted any.

Easy answer, Cold Steel blow gun! The air supply is not reliable and barely adequate, and sometimes just refuses to do the work, leaks and often releases it own gas. The aim is often off, and there is no consistency. It's long, single shot, with a slow loading process and you can't get the ammo just anywhere. You have to shoot it in private places because anyone that sees you using it is going to give you a load of endless grief. Makes a better walking stick than anything else.

On the plus side though it is handy for pushing regulators out of long tubes.
That might just be the funniest comment I’ve ever read! We should have a post that ranks the best responses!

Well, I never had a cold steel blow gun, but when in college I bought a plastic one at a gun show, along with several bags of "hunting darts". Many tree rats, chipmunks and birds ran around, and flew, with red and green ended blowing darts hanging off them. I will agree the air supply was leaky and unreliable, along with the accuracy.

Uragan 2 700mm, Carbon Stock, .25 caliber. Most expensive air rifle I have ever owned and it's the least accurate. It's the only air rifle I have owned that has mechanically broken-down (numerous times).

Quality of manufacturing is as good as it gets. Engineering..., not so much.

Thank you for this interesting thread. My story seems a little anemic compared to others, but I regret buying a Beeman AR2078 for my daughter. It's too heavy and what's more, the seals failed right after the return period. 🤬

I have a set of replacement seals, but I haven't found my round toit, yet. So it sits, patiently waiting. Meanwhile, my daughter has moved on to other hobbies. 😪

Of the 70 or more airguns I've owned, both PCP, springer, CO2 and whatever, I don't regret buying any of them. Some I liked better than others. Some I bought just to find out for myself if they are really as good as the good people on these forums say they are. Some just to satisfy my curiosity. None were really bad and those that I really didn't care for I sold. It's been a great trip.
