PCP What air gun do you Most Regret buying?

Your chances of getting a crappy gun are quite high when you buy a cheap one.
Yes….ive found it’s better to just grin and bear the pain of the higher dollar stuff. Usually ends up being money better spent. Right now is actually a great time if you are a buyer. I’ve never seen the market so soft. Great opportunity to get something really good at a lower than usual price.

And don't think that a lot of us are not loving it. It puts more into us retirees being able to afford.

I have spent so many years just going through this sport and picking the best, Yes the 10- The pick of the straws, No short ones,
Every gun now 8 PCP bullpups , 5 PCP pistols ,, So my answer is why would you have regrets or sale your best B/P--or- Pistol.
Now I did buy my wife and me bought some adult size red Ryder BB guns that we have never shot in a couple years,,
I.ll think about it , If something comes to mind I.ll post.

About 4 years ago I purchased a Sig Saur P320 pellet pistol. I was intrigued by it's advertised 30 rd magazine. I should have remained merely intrigued as that bicycle chain magazine jammed several times with each fill. It had to be "helped" around the upper corner with nearly each trigger pull. In order to quell the complaints, Sig, with generosity in their hearts, sent me a couple of revised 20 rd bicycle chain mags . . . still no good. My Sig has sat unused used for the last several years now. I only shoot it on occasion in order to keep the seals well lubricated. Orv.

I had an Aselkon MX6 in .177. It was a beautiful rifle with a Turkish walnut stock, but it was only accurate to about 25 metres. Beyond that, the groups were as large as dinner plates. My biggest gripe was the importer, who could not care less. When will wholesalers and dealers realise that customer support will bring them continued business?

Crossman Magfire, refurb, direct from Crossman. Obviously had not been repaired, was lucky to get 300FPS. Contacted Crossman they were useless, asked to return it since they sent a defective product. Had to pay shipping to return their defective product. They replicated the issue and still refused to refund my shipping.

Have heard all the praise for Crossman CS and all the hate for Hatsan CS and my experience has been the polar opposite. Hatsan, especially Kaden, have been nothing but helpful and knowledgeable. Especially when I first fell down the PCP rabbit hole.

Evanix Airspeed .22 absolute piece of junk that I ended up parting out to others for basically free.

And now a XM1 Bullshark .177. I've tried multiple things to get it to shoot a half decent group at 25yds and absolutely nothing I'm about ready to do the same and give it away for parts.
I feel bad for recommending one since mine is a good copy. I’m sorry man ☹️

Easy answer, Cold Steel blow gun! The air supply is not reliable and barely adequate, and sometimes just refuses to do the work, leaks and often releases it own gas. The aim is often off, and there is no consistency. It's long, single shot, with a slow loading process and you can't get the ammo just anywhere. You have to shoot it in private places because anyone that sees you using it is going to give you a load of endless grief. Makes a better walking stick than anything else.

On the plus side though it is handy for pushing regulators out of long tubes.

Lol it's the gamble we take with these cheaper guns man not your fault!
I found out too late (already had bought a new barrel) what the problem was for accuracy with my version of basically the same gun, a P15, from RoachCreek at GTA.

Try this: If there is a set screw to hold the barrel in place at the top of the sight rail that corresponds to a dimple on the barrel, DO NOT use it. Only use it to initially assemble, once you have tightened all the other screws loosen it completely. The trunion screws hold the barrel just fine, that screw isn't needed and effects the bore if over tightened even slightly. I tried that and my accuracy came right back, and that barrel itself, was accurate.

Sig sauer mcx Virtus very cheaply made and no replacement parts from the manufacturer plastic around the barrek m- lock brakes from the sun and if you leave it lean on the wall the thread that hold rear air tank in the butstock bend the threads made from cheap metal and starts to leak. It is made by airsoft company tokyo marui as one time order and thats it no spare parts.

Also Umarex for just nit being functional enough no desire to make quiality products with decent power like other makes do from co2 cartrige air rifkes HDR, bb guns like Mp40 legends to brake barrels.

Otherwise all other decent pcp airguns i got stand to its name even if they are budget like hatsan blitz or Kral arms bigmax X , diana bandit abd some brake barrels they do what they are advertised the blitz got over 10 thousand rounds no issues no parts replacement just clean the gear wheels in the side pannel and under the sgroud where the reloading rod is moving back and forth and is accurate like laser with pellets. Kral arms same slug barrel hitting gongs at 300 yards with every shot in .30 and m25 cal 50-60grain slugs around 850-930fps depending on the weight the only thing there i changed was the valve pin couse it was damageing the o ring too often replaced it with valve pin completley made out of metal with small tolerance gap so no rubber seal is needed relianle as hell cant count the thousands of shots.

We all have had at least one. We'll, most all of us anyway. Didn't have to be a "Bad" one, just not what you thought, or no better than you thought the step up should have been. I will fess up, mine is my .25 Raider. Holds air, shoots hard and straight when zero scope. But. Even putting it in the rack, and taking it out the next day, chances are great you gonna have to re zero the scope. Seems to be a major issue with the plastic breach.
Actually, I have only two that I regret buying: Airacuda Max all calibers due to clipping and AEA SF because I dislocated my right Index finger trying to cock it. I love my FX King GRS in .30, FX Hunter Compact in .30, FX Dynamic Compact in .22, XM1 Bullshark, Ranger and Scout

They are excellent VERY accurate Guns with low single digit SD. Where did you buy it and when? I am positive that it ill shoot 1/2" groups at 30m, even if it takes replacing with a brand new one. I am a XM1 advocate. Send me a private message with your phone # and I'll quickly get it resolved, no fee or charge involved. You can also find my phone # on AirgunDirect.com The target attached here is an 8 shot group at 50m with a .25 cal Bullshark, but I have all calibers and wanted to show you what you can expect OUT OF THE BOX after cleaning. Did you thoroughly clean it b4 shooting it?
