You only die once. I live every day.I think I might put one of my other toys (car) up for sale, if that works out I might get one.
The only springers that ever had was when I was a kid. My Daisy Red Ryder and a pistol that had a lever on the front of it. I don’t remember much about the pistol though.
We’ll see what happens you only live once.![]()
You only die once, true enough. But you didn’t say that you live for every day.You only die once. I live every day.
Yes sir. I have been on death's doorstep. My attitude was much the same long before that. One of my favorite quotes is from a movie titled the world's fastest Indian. Anthony Hopkins is telling this young man "You live more in five minutes on a bike like that going flat out than most people live in a lifetime". Seize the day, do what it takes to realize a dream. Make it happen. My step dad and I were at odds on how to live. When I rose from my death bed I told him. "That's what I mean, if I wouldn't have made it, look at all I would have missed". I take care of my family obligations, after that I make things happen to experience life as it interests me. So yeah, I live for every day.You only die once, true enough. But you didn’t say that you live for every day.
As someone who has been through some very dark times, my door is open metaphorically speaking of course.
If you were just being a smart a$$, well sir you may take a flying leap. I am just kidding, please don’t jump off of anything
.
I can truly appreciate that. Especially as someone who has taken a couple of motorcycles to their limits and cars that I have built. I can tell you in all cases they just never seem to be fast enough (for me anyway). Last time I went to the dealer for my motorcycle was a warranty issue, the Service advisor commented to me after looking at my tires and metal missing from the pegs “You certainly aren’t afraid of laying it down are you?”. It’s ironic that I would never gamble with money yet if someone offered me the chance to get behind the wheel of something that will go 200 miles an hour, sign me up please.Yes sir. Motorcycles are the greatest love I have after my family. I cannot imagine life without them. Despite years of riding, being hit by a car, a virus is what nearly killed me. After being given my last rights, I climbed out of that bed two days later. I live to ride another day. I wish you well my friend.I can truly appreciate that. It’s been a very good conversation Scriv. I sincerely wish you many more years of riding. Don’t ever imagine life without them. I can tell you from personal experience it feels like something tore out part of your soul. Take care brother.Motorcycles are the greatest love I have after my family. You got this. Make it happen. With still more to come I think as you continue to refine those beautiful HWs of yours.
I am hopeful for an HW100X in .20 one day (with appropriate specs).
You are fortunate. I must balance things out as I have several hobbies. We are fortunate that our wives are supportive. I wish you well in your quest for fine walnut. What can I say, I have a fetish for fine walnut wood and beautifully blued works making up the majority of my airgun collection. Shoot (excuse the pun), but the same goes for my powder burners as well. I have a truly gorgeous Baretta 92FS that has engraved walnut grips. This was given to me by my son and has never been fired. It was also a special gift to him. Anyway, I love that walnut and steel. As I have no other hobbies that take up my retirement monies, my dear wife pretty much leaves me alone. Orv.
