Testing Heartland Airguns prototype moderator. Its a winner

We had the privilege of reviewing and comparing a prototype moderator built by Heartland Airguns. We tested it against two other Heartland Airgun moderators, several DonnyFLs, a Rocker1, 2 Impulse Airs and an Air Thunder Ordinance Falx. We were blown away by how much quieter the prototype was compared to all the 12 others we tested against. You can see more here.

I'm very interested in the new Heartland suppressor!

I have the Heartland 'Mini Mod' on a 34fpe .22 and it is very quiet. Don't understand why the current Heartland suppressors didn't perform for you guys???

It could be because the Whisper Pro is a .30 and or because its on an unshrouded barrel??? However, we tested other 30’s that were quieter.

Did they give you any ideas on maybe when this new suppressor would be released, or a price?

It is usuallly very hard to hear the difference in a video between moderators but I said WOW too when you shot that prototype!

The 'prototype' is on the Heartland site now. Says it will be in stock as early as tomorrow. Price went up more than I expected, but still well priced considering the cost of airgun suppressors in general.

Naw you are good... You just aren't allowed to talk about how to build one... or test one... or package one... or link to a printables page... but you can sell them all day long. And by the way, my testing or your moderator has been an educational experience. In four or five years of testing moderators, both commercial designs and home brew designs, I have only ever gotten better results once or twice and those were within margin of error for the recording equipment. You have a winner there.
