Break Barrel Talk me out of an HW95N Stainless

Yeah, I already have a .22 HW98. I would say half a collector. All shooters, but since I only go out to the field occasionally, it helps to have unique springers I can enjoy owning. I asked because I’m convinced I’ll get one, and subconsciously knew people on this forum would encourage me 😆
How does a HW98 perform in .22? Compared to the HW95? My R9 is .22. My TX200 is .177.

Exceptional, but I’ve only really shot it after a well known tuner from the west coast worked his magic on it. Trigger 1st stage was shortened, then a very positive wall, followed by a very clean break. The cycle is a quick “thud” that feels almost identical from shot to shot. Ragged hole groups out to 30. Sometimes pellet on pellet for 2-3 shots, but then I’ll inevitably place the 4th shot touching or about a pellet’s length away. The 98 is supposedly better for target due to its extra weight, with the 95 better for pesting for the same reason. Same internals.

Thanks for the info.

I have Beeman R9 (same gun), and it is a nice rifle, no doubt, and the "stainless" look is nice. But I would be hard pressed to get another just for looks. If I was motivated to sell or give away the R9, that's another story.

Back to the original post, do you already have a similar gun in the collection? Are you a collector? Do you need to thin the herd, as I do, but haven't gotten a "round tuit"? Or is there another reason you want to be convinced NOT to buy it?
No Thank You.
I still have the HW30 it's my favorite Rifle. Just sold the HW50s(it's terrific)it's a step up in what I want to Break Barrel. And let's face it. When people shoot one of those they give you what you paid for it.
Have a dozen other guns my Kids are Grandkids will get given to them.
Still hoping my taxes bring me a Huben GK1 v3
I've been saving all winter. The thing is expensive by the time you deck it out.
