PCP Snowpeak Max 1 Magazines

The Max 1 only comes with 1 magazine. None seem available anywhere. Since the Max 1 shares components with the Snowpeak M60, I decided to take a shot and ordered a Zelos/M60 magazine from Big Air Precision. Unfortunately i ordered .22 and needed .25 (Dunbass). I went ahead and tried the .22, it fit with just a tiny amount of slop. I measured my Max 1 magazine and the M60 magazine. Only one measurement differed, thickness. Max 1 is 15.5mm and M60 is 15mm.

So, I ordered 2 .25 magazines. 0.5mm is a strip of thick tape.

I also have a MAX1 in .22 and yes the ZELOS mags seem to work fine. What I did not like was the feel of the tube in my hand when shooting so I contacted BRAVO3D to inquire about his ZELOS forearm. I also have the ZELOS and measured both lower airtubes and they are the same, I purchased the forearm from BRAVO3D and it is a nice tight fit. Now feels so much better . What do you think ?

That looks much much better. Not to mention a whole lot more comfortable. Can make a huge difference when taking shots at the tree rats or jackrabbits!

How’s it shooting compared to the zelos? Thinking about ordering one

Looks good. So I have a zelos, but considering ordering the max1. How’s it shooting for ya?

And they work just fine in the Max 1
Barely notice the 0.5mm size difference.

So far not bad have not had a chance to stretch it out but will try to get it setup this weekend if time allows.

Looks great attached to the rifle. Makes the gun much easier to shoot than trying to grip the tube while shooting. Very effective add on!

Hey quick question. Just received my Max1, did yours arrive with 200 bar air in the tube and regulator set at 140? I think I was sent a used one. I can hardly cock the gun, takes a ton of force, and my pellets are hitting a foot right even with the scope maxed out. Something is going on with mine

Pretty sure mine had no air
Cocking is a little stiff but nothing too bad.
The factory reg setting was 190Bar
I was pretty sure but checked a thread on AGN and confirmed that.

Sorry you're having trouble with yours. Make sure the scope mounts are mounted properly flat on the scope rail. Is that a scope you've used before or new and possibly defective? Hammer spring might be turned too far in is why it's hard to cock maybe? Just some things to check and i hope you get it working properly! Let us know your progress.

I’ll check the hammer tomorrow now for sure. New scope and rings that I’ve been using on my zelos for a few months with no problems. Really appreciate the help.

Nothing is more frustrating than getting a new pcp and having these issues along with it. Also find out what the factory setting for the regulator is and set it there to start. I'm sure you've done that already. Take care!
