Just got one of these and was wondering a good starting point for reg, pellet, and pellet speed. Right now it is set at 150 Bar throwing the 18's at about 880, but they look like a curve ball coming out the barrel. The pellet flight isn't straight. Let me know what you folks are running on reg and pellet speed.

Pesty3782 Your new rifle looks very nice. I just received a new Blackwolf 17, .22 and noticed the gages when the rifle arrived. My Huma was 114 and the bottle was 190. This shot a 18.13 JSB 821 FPS at 27.54 FPE.
If your rifle has a bottle (with or with out a shut off valve in the bottle) Please read your owners manual about this next suggestion.
TO Change, & Lower the regulator pressure to say 115 bar. To do this you may have to remove all the air in the bottle and the rifle. Once this is done rotate the valve correctly to Lower. By going lower you can always come up to a higer level and won't have to Degass the bottle. I am sort of a newbie so please read your instructions carefully.
I have a Delta Wolf and do not set the regulator very high also. I found out that the JSB 18.13 pellets do not like velocity above the 825 threshold at all. Maybe a heavier pellet might better or a slug would work better at the 880 fps.
Hey might be a good time to try the above before taking the bottle off to work with the 18.13 gr pellets.
Once again Please read your owners manual before trying this.

Mine is set at 135 bar and sends the 18's at 840. It's the only gun that I have never tuned, came out of the box perfect. I really like the 17" barrel, it's like the happy medium between the magnum and the sahara.

Well as usual Derrick is going to be right. I am at 145 bar throwing the JTS 18's at 870 right now. They are doing pretty good, but the inner tweaker in me wants a better group.......So I will pull the barrel and give it another good cleaning after the 110 pellets I sent down range.....Maybe a light polish and then back at it ..... I really want to have it all dialed in for when I am at Mormon lake at the State finals to do a little pest schwacking after the matches....Lost of ground squirrels up there.
