Are you asking me? Should ask Tim at Mac-1 who I am? Help state this shillouette and field target. In the early 80s won most the long range events back then. Shot 10 pins with 5 shots! 22 wouldn’t fit between the pins so I aimed at the spot between each 2. Speed shoot with a single shot at the first national event and on and on and on? Got lots of wins back then till I had a retina detachment in my dominant eye, but still shoot! After reattachment. Not doing bad. Tim gave me the Nickname Powermonger when I was working for him in the early 80s

If I put on another challenge, it would probably be the same one since it proved difficult. Outside of HAM too was my target audience since I often get comments about the ease of shooting single hole groups at 100, something I essentially only see as a fluke in real life even with a pro behind the trigger. So why not redo the same challenge?

I was a bit surprised how little people participated, but then again I'm sure a handful did video but got less than desired single hole groups and didn't post it. The reason I know this is because I had received a few emails from the YT channel saying it would be easy and that they would smoke everyone, but in 60 days none of those videos ever materialized. Ditto with influencers. Oh well such is life. But anyone that actually put a real video out with real results, whatever they were, went beyond talk. That's competition 101 in the end of the day - not going home with the ball but actually playing

I think the lack of participation has just as much to do with the time of year, as with technology. Let's face it, every time there has been an age post, the average for our crowd has been around 56+. I'm past that by a margin now, and I don't shoot for any kind of groups in the winter, I won't shoot with a bipod on the ground anymore either. Just this weekend the snow is just about gone but now the frost is leaving and everything is turning to mud. Generally, a lousy time to be mucking about in New England.

Then, there's the actual filming stuff that people don't want to bother with. Sorry, it's just not most of our lifestyles. Still, I think if you want national, if not world, participation, you need to do these challenges in the summer months.

I love the idea of these challenges because this is exactly what I want to see on these forums; how guns actually shoot in the real world, and what slugs actually work in them at what speeds and such. It's a great way to collect data points. I'm mostly here to learn, and I've learned lately that I am getting tired of the slug game in .22 cal. It seems to me that .25 and .30 were comparably much easier to figure out. That, or I just got lucky with those.

Thanks, to all those shooters who participated, I appreciate the effort you put forth.
