My Ghost has always had very minimal clearance as seen below.

I have put on a Omega(inocom)700cc and it touches at the end.

I thinking of trying to replace the barrel o-ring in the frame with a 90 duro, this might make the barrel not droop as much? Does anyone know what size this o-ring is? Can I replace it with just removing the barrel? Any help or ideas are welcome.

I could always get the WR tension kit, it would be a smaller diameter. The barrel tensioner clamp might also align the barrel better.

Pull the barrel and its easy to remove the o ring. Don’t know if a different o ring will help or not. Have you tried a lighter silencer?

This is an interesting problem to me, because I don't have it, but if I did I wouldn't be too happy about it. Thinking on it a bit, I would try clocking shims, on the bottle connection. Maybe just turning it a bit will reveal that is where the cant is coming from. Of course, this will be tedious because it won't really show itself until you fill the bottle. It's something to try anyway. It could be the shroud itself too. If it's the actual male bottle connector in the gun then I would say to stick to using a shorter bottle. I'm really interested in seeing what you come up with. Good luck!

I ordered some 14.5 x 3 orings in 90 duro for the barrel oring in the frame, but they are back ordered about 2 weeks.☹️ The BRK sheet said it was a 90 duro, but I’ve read it felt like 70 when removed, so maybe this will help.

AoA said it doesn’t matter if the shroud touches the bottle, but I don’t believe this.

Yeah, I don't believe that either. I believe everything matters.

I had the same issue with the Sonoran. Mine came with the 700cc bottle and when I made a bottle shroud with Arca rail and mounted a bipod, it contacted the shroud. The barrel droop brings it really close to the shroud. Technically these rifles are not true ‘Free Floated” barrels. If they were they wouldn’t be attached to the shroud near the muzzle. But, I can’t see how inconsistent tension on the barrel/shroud can be a good thing. But, I don’t think a softer o-ring would compress enough under the weight of the shroud to cause an issue. It will be interesting to see if it fixes it.
