Rochester Brooks Field Target, Rush NY, October 18, Results

[poopshoot55]

When I arrived at the club around 7:45, it was a brisk 34 degrees, would warm up to the low 40s at match start, and finish at 60, at match end. The weather people must be spinning the roulette wheel with their wind forecast. The wind started at 10 at match start, then cranked up to 20, halfway through, switching from southwest to southeast, then completely dying at times, it was a guessing game all day. We had two new shooters, Larry and Guy, who had a good time and said they will be back next year, which makes four new shooters this year, which is great for the club. Also Karen and Stephan came in from New Jersey, always nice to see them. The close division this month was WFTF Piston, with Nathan and John, one point apart. We had 22 targets over 40 yds, out of 30, with all 1.5” kill zones, which accounted for a 30.07 Troyer. We did have 3 cold lines for strings hung up, including one ring being shot, which were quickly rectified, all in all a beautiful fall day to be knocking down targets. Looking forward to next year, results are as follows:
