Some may know the problems I had with Barra customer service. I've come to the conclusion that I was the exception to good service. Should have my rifle back including a tin of pellets 2/19/25. But now I have a question since my faith has improved. The rifle I purchased is the 1100z .177. Do you feel that it is justifiable in purchasing the 1100z .22 caliper ? I came to love the .177 in the short time I had it. Just not sure about getting the .22. If I do get the .22 caliber, I plan to use both calibers for target and small game hunting. Any and all opinions are appreciated.

While I don't know the Barra 1100 personally I know what your thinking! ( I have been tossing idea of getting an S510 sporter in .177...I have the .22 currently) I would wait till you get your .177 back and run it for a good month or two. Then decide👍

Definitely get the .22, you will love it, but the critters won't. I got mine at 1st of December, and it became my favorite small game getter quick. 14.3's to 18 grain they make a good whack when hitting hide.

I was a bad boy. I could not wait. Just ordered it from Barra along with 2 extra magazines. I would have gone through Pyramyd air but they did not list the magazines, so I ordered directly from Barra web site.

If you need any extra mags, and I don't recall how much they are from Barra, been 2 or 3 days since I been on they site, but Academy sports has them for 9.99 each, and if you spend over 25.00 online shipping is free.

My 1100z seems to like the Blue Bomber blue tipped gamo pellets very well so I ordered 4 new tins last night from Academy. Gotta love free shipping.

Barra Charges $12. Pyramyd sold them for the same price. I know that PA did have them before because I bought a bunch in January for my .177. I don't know if they are just not available right now so they did not list them. I know that's what happened with Crosman Mag Fire magazines. They were out of stock for a while and Mag Fire owners were pissed. I had bought a bunch of mags before the shortage. I remember checking Amazon and they were available but for $14. I did not need them but was curious. I have to check out Academy Sports. Do they only deal in air guns or are they about all sports?

Every caliber is really good for something and worth owning in my opinion. Since you like the platform, why not have two? If your first was a Gen 1 1100z then I hope you got the Gen 2 in .22 so you can see if its an improvement for yourself. Happy shooting!

I ordered the Gen 1 .22 mainly do to the price. The gen 2 was $75 more. If I could have convinced my mind to save up the money before purchasing, I might have waited and ordered the gen 2. My brain won and I purchased the gen 1 .22 now. Is there an AGA, air guns anonymous near me. LOL

Yea, I know, you warned me. Hi. My name is Bill and I have a problem. AGA. LOL
Bill, how's the Gen.2 Barra .22 working out for you? tell a good difference power wise, and shot count between fills? I'm asking cause I am thinking of adding the Gen.2 .25 to my .22, for more stopping power. I got enough .22's. So its either the Barra or a replacement barrel for my Condor, and I rather have a whole new gun.

JimT66, sorry I can't help you. Both my 1100Z's, .177 and .22 are gen 1's. I love them both but I have to admit that I shoot the .22 more. I set my compressor to 2600psi and get about 3 clips of consistent shots.

Mine is a 22 as well. I think I have...12? Lol, all different, but still .22s. I've been on the bullpup kick, but want a 25 regulated, regular rifle type, and I know how much I love my Barra.
