This year I have really started to notice that I don't have as much feel in my finger tips as I use to have. With regard to shooting, the loss of feeling in my trigger finger means less than perfect trigger control.

Anyone else experience the same sensation and find yourself thinking about it anytime you get behind the rifle?

Getting old sucks!

Arthritic fingers are a BIG problem and not just with regard to triggers. I hardly ever shoot my .177's anymore because I have a hard time picking up the pellets. It's also a problem going from rifles with with different trigger pull weights. Didn't used to bother me, now it does.

I have arthritis, have had for forty years. Fortunately, my trigger finger is still spot on. While we're on the subject, Google drunk raisins, probably why it's still spot on. You can thank me later.
"Drunk Raisins". Now that's something I never heard about before. I don't drink so I'd probably actually get drunk if I ate a handful of those. But maybe my trigger feel would be restored so it might be worth it!

What kind of shots are we controlling with our jigger, err triggers today? All kidding aside, with a properly adjusted Air Arms or Weihrauch trigger or heaven forbid one of those damn pcb triggers, the trigger feel for the 1st and 2nd stages, even with arthritis should be acceptable. If you are shooting a Gamo or Hatsan, well I don't think even the best shooters can "break" even with those triggers. Better off with a couple of jiggers before those triggers. Sorry, Orv.

Getting old may suck, but it's still better than the alternative for me. Orv.
