The new BRK Pathfinder O.D. Green Package is a new version of this popular, HAM Gold Award-winning air rifle. It’s a regulated PCP with sidelever action.
Initially available only as a package, the Pathfinder O.D. Green features an olive drab green finish to the shroud, body and butt stock. It also includes a BRK MF-121 silencer and backpack case, also in matching olive green.
2024 Extreme Benchrest attendees were able to see and handle a sample of this gun, just a few days ago. It definitely looks good and – I think – has the potential to be a big seller for the company.
Note that the scope shown in the above photographs is the compact Copperhead 4-16 x 44 from MTC Optics.
The company says that – since its launch last year, the Pathfinder has consistently been a top seller for BRK. The Pathfinder joined the super-light and compact Ranger XR and quickly become a firm favorite with hunters and pest controllers, BRK tells Hard Air Magazine.
The new Pathfinder XR features a lightweight, 300cc carbon bottle for increased shot count compared to the Ranger XR. Export and FAC models also benefit from higher power output as well.
The Pathfinder XR measures a carbine length 25.5 Inches with its folding stock deployed.
It’s just 18.5 Inches with the stock retracted, resulting in a rifle that is incredibly fast onto the target and useful in tight situations.
The new BRK Pathfinder O.D. Green weighs just 6.4 lbs, and yet the 12 Ft/Lbs model can deliver over 200 shots. Export .25 caliber models produce a Muzzle Energy of up to 30 Ft/Lbs in .25 caliber. That’s 27 Ft/Lbs in .22 cal.
BRK says the Pathfinder XR offers superb accuracy at normal airgun hunting ranges, and its slick sidelever action enables fast reloading. The Pathfinder features an advanced Huma-Air
regulator and newly introduced hammer design. This is claimed to be BRK’s most consistent yet, with beneficial results on downrange accuracy.
The new BRK Pathfinder O.D. Package will be available in the USA soon from Airguns of Arizona and Precision Airgun Distribution dealers. The price is TBD at the time of writing this post.
