Open for pre order the future of semi auto pcp technology 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🇺🇲

Fast is an understatement accurate is an understatement. The Airgun world is about to be shaken up 💪🏻

2026 just got really interesting 👌

I’m Leary of prepaying $1300 on the promise of a March shipping date. The airgun industry seems to operate on the same principle of the computer industry in the 1980’s with “vaporware”, over promise and under deliver as far as shipping dates. I’m still waiting on my fully paid for AV Bell target lol. A deposit similar to what AOA does would seem more in line.

Absolutely, I messaged to find out if I would be charged at shipment on a preorder - No, in full at time of purchase.

So, I’m pumping the brakes. I’m still very interested in knowing the MSRP, that could make me consider it.

I’m okay with a deposit for a regular price if it’s something that I want.

I am also okay with prepaying if it’s a substantial savings, but no one is holding my money and not doing me any favors 👎.

I applaud your spidey-sense and yes I remember the vaporware of yore. Tom runs a pretty taut ship at HighPressure Pneumatics and sells quite a few Skout Airguns and also has a team of shooters that do quite well with his set-ups. I am certain we will hear more from Skout (on another thread I am aware of on this site) and from HPP. Just waiting now on that proverbial slow boat from Taiwan.

Great price on that Tom! Should sell out quick. I want one.

🔶 I am sorry: 😞
I am a die-hard bullpup man.... 🤷🏻‍♂️

But....:
Over the years, I have made room in my heart for some FSR's (Folding Stock Rifles).

➠ So, the Skout in question of the OP qualifies on that account.

🔶 Also, for years, I thought:
"Semi-auto is just a frilly thrill!" 🤦🏻‍♂️

Well, after the many times that feral pigeons tried to prove to me the size of their bird brain
and remained sitting next the their comrade that I just murdered with a .22cal pellet —
I finally saw the light of semi-auto!! 🔆

So, I'm looking at the shape of the Skout —
and wonder:

➊ Why is the action so tall, so massive, so over-proportioned in comparison to the rest of the gun...?
Visual appeal:
Skout, please, fire your industrial designer, if you haven't already.

➋ Why — if I rest the bottle on a field support like a bag on a fence — why does the scope sit so high above....?

Balance of the rested gun:
Skout, rethink your action, please, and move stuff forward and backward — instead of downward from the barrel..... — RTI is a good model of this right.

🔶 The very, very friendly MRSP might still convince me to overcome problems in visual appeal and balance —
because the semi-auto bug has bitten me —
and it has bitten me ⬛BAD.
