The new model HW45 STL is among the up-graded range of Weihrauch air pistols. They are coming to Airguns of Arizona very soon!
The HW45 is, of course, yet another classic Weihrauch spring/piston airgun. It’s the company’s way to steadily, incrementally improve on perfection in their products, so the new HW45 STL and it’s fellow models will be appreciated by the cognoscenti.
Actually the HW45 STL is a new “duo tone” version of the design. It combines a deep-blued slide with a “stainless look” frame and laminated wood grips. Very nice!
Also coming to Airguns of Arizona are upgraded versions of the HW 45 Bronze Star and HW 45 Silver Star.
All the new models feature a fixed Picatinny rail in the underside of the frame ahead of the trigger. In addition, there’s now an included top Picatinny rail that can be attached to the slide with two screws – if desired – instead of the dovetail rails built-in to the slide.
All models have an over-lever cocking system and single-shot actions. AoA has them available in .177 and .22 calibers.
The HW 45’a two-position spring piston system allows you to choose between two velocities without pumping. There’s also a precision adjustable two-stage trigger, and a micrometer fiber-optic rear sight that’s adjustable for windage and elevation.
Above is the Bronze Star. We can see the Silver Star below. Note the target-style grips on these models and the dovetail rail on the slide of the Silver Star.
Muzzle Velocity is up to 560 FPS in .177 caliber and 425 FPS in .22 cal.
The HW45 STL is priced at $579.99 in .22 caliber.
