Others MTM Foster Connector

Anyone know the measurements of this type of Foster Connector? This one leaks, but I can't find any flaws. It does measure smaller than the male Foster fill valve.

Did you check the o ring in the fitting?

Yes. I had purchased two of the M/M connectors, and one works and the other leaks.

The problem is that there isn’t a recognized standard. Foster still makes them, along with another couple USA companies, but I don’t know if they all agree. When you throw in the Chinese fittings, well it seems they express their lack of personal freedoms by freely expressing themselves thru freewheeling dimensions.

I’ve had a few male fittings that I’ve chucked in my drill press & gently run some emory paper on the sharp edges. I use my genuine Foster female fittings on my SCBA lines as the standard.

More than likely the Oring is knocked. They're not hard to change.

O ring is fine. All the foster fittings leak when I use this one.
