New Western Airguns MR PRO 3x30 IR 🚨releasing tonight🚨

The 3x30 is a light weight emersive scope that is ultra light weight and just what you need for Compact hunting, pesting, and plinking platforms. This 3x30 has
•Clear Sight Picture✅ •Shock-Proof✅ •Nitrogen Filled✅ Pictured below is a Western Airguns Mordax .30 cal long strike pushing 70fpe for a hunt. And the 3x30 is the perfect choice for a light weight optic in the field.

To generate any interest or sales, AoA is going to have to publish a comprehensive list of specs, similar to those specs lists all scope manufacturer's publish. There is nothing pertinent shown in the ad, aside from the style of scope, magnification, and price

I totally agree. If nothing else, post a link to where the specs are. Do you want to sell any of these things or not? The key to sales, it seems to me, is hype and ease of purchasing. You've got the hype down.

The folks at AoA would have "ease of purchasing" down if they would just list the eye relief, reticle type, and field of view; as would be pertinent Info to this type of scope. Consumers do not buy any scope based on the specs of a "30mm tube" and "magnification" alone.

AOA, seriously?
You want to be taken seriously, or not?

➊ From the product photos —
I don't think there is a parallax adjustment.
From similar scopes we know that parallax is rather touchy, and parallax adjustment is indispensible for a sharp image. 🤦🏻‍♂️

➋ From the product photos —
the windage turret seems to be numbered
1moa—15moa.
Instead of
0moa—7.5moa Left.
0moa—7.5moa Right.
Total China mistake. 🤦🏻‍♂️

➌ The windage turret states
"1/2 moa per click."
But the numbering on the turret shows 1/4 moa per click. 🤦🏻‍♂️

➍ The elevation turret is in moa, 1/4 moa per click, for a total of 15moa per revolution. That's very little.

Well, without knowing the
⭓FoV,
⭓seeing a clear image of the reticle, and
⭓getting a precisely stated eye relief —
AOA gets my LOL, but not my $$$. 🤷🏻‍♂️

OK, so for this 3x magnification scope the FoV is 10⁰.
That makes comparisons to other scopes difficult, as FoV for scopes is commonly given in ft @100y (or m @100m).

The conversion factor is 5.25.
So, 10⁰ converts to 52.5ft @100y.

For a "normal" scope, at 3x the typical FoV is around 36ft.
Compared to that 52ft is a lot.

However, this is a fixed magnification scope. And it is not a "normal" scope, but a prismatic scope with super-short eye relief. A very different world....

Because scopes of this type have a much wider FoV, for example:
Element Immersive 10x40 has 34ft, but at more than THREE TIMES the magnification than the Western Airguns model!

➠ And then there are scopes like the following, that have variable magnification, and a significantly wider FoV, even though they are "regular" scopes.

⭓Hawke Airmax 30 Touch
3-12x32 SFP
FoV 64ft-18ft @100y

⭓MTC Viper Connect
3-12x24 SFP
and
⭓3-12x32 SFP
FoV 61ft-17ft
