This is not a review so much as it is a buyer knowledge advice?
I made a purchase of Monstrum height adjustable rings for my GAMO ARROW rifle. The rings aren’t just adjustable for height, they’re also adjustable for cant. Kind of one or the other adjustments. You can get Monstrum rings that are specifically adjustable in height because they have locking lugs machined in. These are not those.
Anyway. I also purchased a set of dovetail to pic adapters that are squeezed by the rings and through compression, they grip the dovetail receiver. i think we’ve all seen and or used em. What I did not realize is, that the Monstrum rings were machined with double pic rail locking lugs and therefore will not work with the adapters.
So a few more days wait and I’ll have a pic rail mount instead of the two little adapter. No biggy, just a minor set back.
