I know your point here is that Barra should be responsible for the products they sell, and I agree. But, if they can't/won't help you with your 400E then you might try an air soft store like 'EVIKE".Wow a manufacture posting about there air guns I am impressed ,, BUT I have a big problem from Barra
I will post what I posted to Barra and will post there response on Ham and AGN,
This is what I ask BARRA
Dear Customer Support Team,
I am writing to express my frustration regarding a 400E BB gun I purchased from your initial production run.
Since receiving the item, it has jammed every two or three shots. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I purchased an additional barrel and a 100-round magazine from your company, but the problem persists. I have also tried using both Barra BBs and Hornady black plated BBs with no success.
When I contacted your team previously to ask about repairs, I was told that you do not service these items. As it stands, I have spent $450 on a product that does not function.
Please let me know how you intend to resolve this matter. I look forward to hearing from you regarding a potential repair, replacement, or refund.
Regards,
Mike Williams
The 400E functions with an electric gearbox arrangement like an air soft rifle. EVIKE may have a repair shop and could help you.
I have some experience with air soft rifles. The problem you describe makes me think that you need to be looking at the 'hopup bucking' as the potential problem. Very often feeding issues with air soft rifles are related to the hopup bucking. I know the 400E shoots steel BBs, but I don't know that rifle in particular so I don't know exactly what they use as the functioning part that the hopup bucking serves with airsoft balls. I assume it's a similar arrangement just designed to feed steel BBs.???
Good luck. Hope ya get some help from Barra.
