I think my airgun obsession has ruled my life and I love it .

Since I was a kid I didn’t give a flip about being in school. In college I would go with my duck hunting jacket to class , why? Because I was going to ditch and go duck hunting that’s why lol. The outdoor sports have been my passion since I was a kid. I would lose sleep at night knowing the next morning I was going to go shooting or hunting or camping. Fast forward to today and not a dang thing has changed except now it’s with airguns 99%!of the time except dove hunting couple times a year with a traditional shotgun but the rest of the year we’re pushing air. To this day if I’m anywhere near my shooting or hunting spots during work I’m stopping and not giving a flip. Working for my brother in law gives me these perks as long as he knows what I’m doing no problem 😉. Even now I’m at work getting an oil change and writing this. It never stops :) and i don’t want it to. Thank goodness i have a wife that doesn’t mind the hobby because it’s a bit safer than powder. This hobby has the nicest people and that’s the best part:). I don’t do Facebook or anything else this is it.

That was me, I was out in the woods all the time. A friend and I ran a small trap line, and I was hiking and shooting all the time. I would take some hot dogs and a small can of beans and make a little campfire to cook them on and just have a ball finding fossils and just seeing everything out there. I liked to go to a fish hatchery to see the trout, I would go for miles.

I'm envious!!! Sounds like what I'd wished that I had done but didn't, at least , not to that extent. To this day, I still can't sleep the night before a hunt or even a long fishing trip.

Man totally understand it:) when we would camp by the Kern River near Bakersfield many moons ago we’d take .22 rifles . Wish I knew pcps back then and had $$ lol because it would’ve been so much fun smashing ground squirrels with pcps instead of .22 LR.

I know what you mean. I'm the same way about airguns, motorcycles, golf, archery, reloading, bullet casting, paddling, fishing, bicycling. Don't know where I found the time to retire twice. Honestly though, I do one or two until it's a bit out of hand , then I'll take a break for a bit, and do something else. I always come back though.
