Thanks. Element Helix 4-16 FFP is the scope. I put it in a dampa mount. That thing should be bulletproof.I just came from your HW50 thread.......She's a work of art, and a .20 to boot, very nice! What scope ended up on it!? Its funny....i shot exactly 3 pellets through mine the day i recieved it too. Then later cleaned the barrel and went over it, had a loose screw or 2.
We'll do. In the above photo I was dialing the turrets after every shot until they were centered. Then I fired a second shot that fell right next to the other. Being as I could no longer see very well in the fading light, I stopped there. I'm as equally excited about the HW50 that came today as well. Maybe more.I know exactly how you feel. When I first un-boxed my walnut HW97K .22 cal from AoA a couple of years ago I was truly excited. I still actually shoot it more often I do my TX200. Believe it or not, it out shoots my TX too. My 97K shoots JSB 15.89 cal pellets best, although Benjamin Single Die pellets come in a close second. Let us know how that beauty of yours shoots. Orv.
What a nice looking stock. I know how you feel, sometimes I just have to stop and look at mine.View attachment 18355View attachment 18356Well, here she is. .20 cal. I had to shoot three pellets out of it to see how smooth it is.![]()
Even though I've owned my TX for a couple of years, the HW97K feels better to me. I used $50 bills on that wood. I paid extra for an upgrade in the lumber.I know exactly how you feel. Yes, the enablers at AoA are to blame. Jared did a video a year ago or so, and I just caught it.Ahhh. . . I'm indeed jealous. Did you order through AoA? If so, I'll inquire about doing it too. Damn the dollars, full speed ahead!. That's indeed a beautiful rifle. Orv.
