Break Barrel HW50S Laminated Blue Stock

I always keep my rifles with their wooden stocks shining and lubricated with Balistol at every use. Of course, they're kept waxed with Renaissance Wax. Now what is the best way to care for my HW50s with blue laminated wood? Thanks in advance for your ideas and help, Orv.
Renaissance on the laminate stock is good. Balistol on the metal is a good choice.

Tre wax was recommended for my custom anschutz laminate by the builder at the custom shop. I have since used it on my walnut Weihrauch rifles, and the laminates such as the HW50S jubilee model that I own. I treat the metal work the same as a firearm.
SCRIV: Just courious (nosey) a about what number your new HW50s with it's blue laminate stock is? Aren't we fancy-dancy with our 75th Anniversary HWs? You know, just a thousand of thers rifles were made in total, with just 300 of those coming to the goood old US of A. With you and me getting 2 of them from AoA, we're in pretty sacred territory here. Maybe they'll hold some speccial value to ourr grandkids as they shoot these Weihrauch rifles wezzzzzwss1

Sure, mine is 491. I don't know about value for the grandkids, but what do I know, I don't have any yet. I just liked the fact that it was different. I enjoy my grey laminate HW30S very much, and feel fortunate to have found it. I sincerely hope that I find a 125 anniversary HW50S as well.

Thanks. My HW50s is number 815, purchase date of January 2026. I thought that maybe I'd put that beautiful blue/grey laminate rifel on the wall for all to see, but where's the fun in that?. So now it's a shooter, all .22 cal of it. I'm keeping all the box stuff incase somebody cares later. A full history of Weihrauch and their rifles is included. Makes paying extra for all the fancy blue laminate worth it, right?.I fear that when its all tabulated, I'll have as much into it as I do in my TX200. It's only money, right? Orv.

Exactly. If you enjoy it, it's worth the investment. I had a super tune with vortek kit. I'm sure someone out there is doing the math, and thinking about the amount invested, and what PCP they could get, or that it's not worth it. It is to me, and that's all that matters. I'm sure this guy will show up at my funeral, and tell my wife that he can't believe how much I spent on a springer. I'd love to see the look on his face when she's punches him in the nose. 🤣

Well, I 'm not at all sure about getting punched in the nose, after all, my wife of 56 years barely stands 5 feet tall. Now, for myself, I 'm scared of her for sure. I too paid for the Vortek Super Tune at AofA. Money well-spent in my eyes. Some men spend their hard earned dollars on fancy boats, some fancy cars, as for myself . . . a few airguns are my passion.

As long as you follow your passion, that's all that matters. Airguns are but one of my interests. There are a lot worse things that we could do.
