Introductions Hello, new to Hardair community

Hello.
I enjoy shooting benchrest mostly.
Been around airguns for about 5 years.
My favorite caliber to shoot is 22 with the Monsters and that's what I've ised in the last 3 years of competitions.

Jeff, HAM Community members don't need to use their own names. But as you are - and that's OK too - I have to ask if you are the Jeffrey Hernandez who won the Pro Class at Extreme Benchrest in 2022? If so, as such a great shooter, I think there's a lot you can tell us about airgun shooting too!!!

Yes that's me.
I always enjoy learning new things.
I have a lot ( a lot could be minimal compared to what it really is to me haha) of passion about shooting and that makes me wake up in the morning thinking on what I did wrong the last time I shot and how can I improve it.
So I think that describes a little about me and what I'm always trying to improve little by little.
Thank you for letting me be part of this community.

Jeff.

Jeff, thanks for the update! One other thing is that - as you live in Panama - I think many people would be interested if you could tell us something about the airgun shooting scene in your country.

The airgun shooting scene here in my country used to be good before covid.
We used to have at least 10 to 15 shooters in a BR match.
The organization has one event per month switching between field target, BR and silhouettes.
The metal silhouettes match has the same rows and distances as the speed silhouette type you see in EBR but the difference is that you have to shoot it standing off-hand without using bipod. You have 8 minutes to shoot. Tou are allowed to use a bipod or thr table to take a break between shots if you wish. You start from closer targets to farther and in order left to right. You are only allowed to have one shot per target and move on next if you missed.
So it will be 20 shots for 20 metals in 8 minutes off-hand.
I use to shoot it very often before covid but after covid I only focused on BR.

After the covid the number of people attending events has decreased unfortunately.

For next year they are planning to run N50 matches also here may be 3 or 4 times in the year.
We will see what happens.
