PCP Hatsan Jet 1 Leak Repair

Wow what a simple gun to repair. I had noticed that the pressure was at 130 bar yesterday afternoon, I checked my gun fill pressure list and found it’s not at 200 anymore. Plumbers bubbles helped me find the small leak at the o ring 3380 at the base of the air cylinder. I just shot it down and the repair was minutes. The original o rings are installed dry. I also pulled to barrel to clean the bubble mixture between the shroud and air tube. No leaks

So much for the dang repair it started leaking again. The original o ring seems stiff maybe a 90 durometer so I replaced the o ring with a 70 and greased it with silicone grease quite a bit . We will see what happens

My Jet 1 started leaking back threw the feel port very bad. i need someone to point me in the right direction for repairs. i am very mechanical just never work on a PCP.

Try couple drops of silicone before you fill and when you relieve the pressure from your fill source do it quick

Wow, that helped I have it up to 200 Bar and going let it sit checking for leak down. Thanks

Throw some soapy water on it with a little kids paint brush and see if it bubbles to save time

Yeah just put soapy water at anywhere you see the cylinder screwed in, block to receiver…..basically anywhere there’s an air joint. Gauge…..mine had a leak from where the cylinder screwed into the block. Never got it to seal

Do you see anything wrong with holding the entire gun under hot soapy water. then blowing off with air.

You’re probably better off getting a spray bottle of soapy water and spraying joints. Dunking makes me nervous. Or just tape the needle and watch it for several days.
